So I play DayZ on Xbox. The game is a bit laggy and load times are long( like gtaV). Took me 30 seconds to install on my Xbox one S. Load times were cut in half and games generally runs less laggy. The best example I can give if you play DayZ would be when you’re logging into a server for the first time in a while, you know you can see through all buildings for about 5 to 10 seconds. With this SSD you get about a half a second. I bought $170 SSD and ended up returning it because a friend of mine has this one and says it works great. Don't buy this trash. usb3 speeds only happen for ~30 seconds of transfer and then it drops to usb1.1 speeds. if you are expecting it to read/write at usb3 speeds for the entire duration of a large file transfer you will be wasting money.

I got this to store MP4 videos to use with the USB on the TV so my mom could have a movie collection that didn't eat up a ton of space. Our last storage device was a normal hard drive and started breaking down, and required an additional power source. This works perfectly for our use and it's my hope that SSD read speeds will prevent any issues when fast forwarding and the like. ... show more

The storage quality is fine, but this device is slow as dirt. Large files, small files, it is SLOW. On the other hand, if speed is not an issue, this may not be a problem. I’m using it to store backups of all of my family’s smartphones, which I update once every few months, so the slow speed isn’t an issue. Out of the package - felt like a toy. Pretty much looks like one too. The cord that comes with it has a 'proprietary' plug on one end, regular USB on other. I've not seen anything quite like it except for an old Samsung Galaxy S5? cell phone cord. Sent it back.
