The product is great, especially for someone who doesn’t want to make big changes to your vehicle, the straps that it came with are acceptable only because I bought separate ratchet straps to secure the boat so regardless, the amounts aren’t going anywhere, however, I do wanna add that I didn’t think it through so I’m sure somebody else maybe haven’t either, but when it rains since the straps go thru the door they do absorb water so it will begin to drip! And that would be for any strap mounts that go thru the car, a quick fix was WHITE washcloths to prevent water from dripping and it’s working great!! Got some more dry clothes just in case I need to switch them but haven’t needed to yet!

I actually really like this roof rack. The only thing is that it started to loosen up after being on the road after about 25 minutes. I had to pull over and re tighten the wratchet straps halfway to my destination. I would not recommend going over 55 or 60 with this at all.

Everything works as it should. It keeps my kayak very secure however it’s LOUD!!! The wind makes the straps whip and it’s pretty unbearable ESPECIALLY going anymore than a 30min drive.

I bought these for my corolla a few years ago, and I felt like I needed to come back to leave a review. I use them to transport furniture I buy (though I do get silly looks from bystanders). I also used this for my kayak, surfboard, etc. They’re easy to set up; I can do it by myself. And a bonus, they’re durable. i’ve used them vigorously for years. Would absolutely recommend.

The straps it comes with are weak. If it rains, the rain water will get through the door jams and soak up all of your seats. Other than that it’s okay.
