This was a great. Please note, I only owned it for a weekend. I ended up returning it because it didn't fit where I wanted to install it in my truck. But I did take it on a trip and loved the idea of it. It worked great even over some rough terrain. It froze some water bottles and kept al our food (in the fridge section) nice and cold. I liked the app, but why in the world does it need the password to my home wifi network. There's absolutely no reason for it to need wifi when it used bluetooth. if I had kept the unit I would probably have uninstalled the app. It's not absolutely needed. As it is, I'm going to change my homes network password.

The media could not be loaded. First, this appears to be a solid portable electric fridge. It's very quiet, cools down quickly, and even holds the cold due to insulation. And it has plenty of room to hold your drinks/food. I like that there is a smart app with this, as it makes controlling it much easier, but be aware that this is clearly not an English first app, and some of the prompts weren't translated at all and I had to guess which button to press from the Chinese. Aside from that though, the app works as expected. It's setup was tricky, I think mostly because when you're not on a 2.4 GHz wifi, it gets very confused and has issues, but doesn't tell you that's the reason. The instructions were not really written for this particular product, which makes them even more confusing. My attached video helps explain how to adjust the settings.

Keep in mind how cheap this unit is. I run a 33 degree fridge side and a -4 freezer side. Awesome. I’ve switched them from time to time so I can hump out more frozen items. Camping ice cream and popsicles - dad for the win! Is the 33 side really 33? Who knows. Close enough. Don’t worry about it. (Someone posted the settings menu where you can change offsets. Seems unnecessary.). If you’re worried your long haul potato salad can’t handle the temp offsets stay home. Put cold things in it, give it a minute, and it keeps temp like a champ. Don’t try making ice. Just buy ice and it will keep it frozen indefinitely. Struggles to keep temp sometimes but no adverse effects. I find the power usage impressive. Over night my 42 amp hour battery easily keeps up, barely 20% drain. Actual insulating power is average to slightly poor but I keep it running 24/7. The UX is awful. I can’t figure out how to use the panel. I use the app (iOS) which only marginally better than awful. But you can set and forget or power through the occasional switch of which side is frozen and it’s fine. UX doesn’t respond with the “setting memory” feature well but I think the unit actually remembers. Handles on the sides are also awful.

UPDATE: I am happy to say, NO more beeping and they're cooling great. It seems I got unlucky and got 2 with bad power supplies. (AC) They worked, but BEEPED and cut off for a moment randomly. But we werent sure at the time so the seller shipped me 2 new units. Ive tested these out by using them for several weeks straight (One for months) and taking them on some trips out of state in the car at an incline. (back seat). They work flawlessly! After determining the problem to be the AC adapters, and them being replaced. I would be confident in recommending these to a friend and will purchase from them again! OLD Review: I have a 30 qt model from this company as well. It too, beeps and shuts off repeatedly several times a day. But it has done well performance-wise. So when this model was on "sale", I decided to go for it thinking the beeping was just a fluke. NOPE. THIS one (37qt Dual) does the same thing... but WORSE. Ive tried to contact the company to get an answer to whats going on, but have been successful. I have it plugged in 120v from the wall. No generators of solar stuff. Good old grid power. Oh, there is nothing in the manual or on their website either. Also, this is a bit heavy when loaded. It really should have wheels.

Could not connect app from my Android phone because it cannot find the 2.4ghz channel of my WiFi. I have dozens of devices (cameras, smart locks, smart outlets, etc) which only use 2.4ghz and they connect to my WiFi network with no problem because it has both 5ghz & 2.4 ghz channels. The instructions had me resetting my router acknowledging that this would cause me to have to reconnect ALL the devices on my router. I wasn't about to do that! So then I am stuck with an awful, awful, awful interface on the unit. There's so few settings, a very simple and elegant interface which is intuitive to use could have been designed, but instead it works like a digital watch from the 70's with short and long holds of indiscriminate buttons . . . we should be well ahead of that 2-button technology. Bad on Aobosi for such a thoughtless design! And here's the fun part: it resets if you unplug it! That's right, the portable fridge which you move around resets itself every time you unplug it. So it's not like you set the interface once and you're done because now it's several times every trip unless you give up the portable part and settle for the inconvenience. It's too much money for all this headache - buy something else!!
