Ordered 3 sizes of this rug for family room and entry ways. Love it! It’s thin, and the design is printed. But it’s sooooo soft. Our kids will lay in front of the fireplace on it doing “carpet angels” haha. The colors are muted and design is just different enough from the other budget options I found, that it looks a little more high end. Goes beautifully with our sort of “modern French country mountain house” mashup. It doesn’t budge in our living room with the couches anchoring it, but it does slide a bit at the entryways. Gripper pads will help. It does a great job hiding dirt, snow, mud, astroturf, pizza crumbs from carpet picnics….vacuums easily and the smaller sizes go easily in the wash. I spent way more time than I want to admit shopping for rugs all over town and online for something budget friendly that still looks beautiful. I love everything about this rug..the look, the price, the softness. My kids just want to lay on it, it feels like silk. We put a 1/2" memory foam carpet pad underneath and it's very squishy and soft now. Left about 3" overlap on each side. We got the Antique / Sage , 8'-6" x 11'-6" size for under our king size bed. My walls are Greek Villa which is a creamy white. Did not smell too bad and I'm sensitive to chemicals. Will buy more for kids rooms. ... show more

This is the BEST rug!!! After a year of trial and error with multiple rugs, we decided to give this one a go based on other reviews, it seemed to fit all the checkboxes of criteria we needed. My husband is in a wheelchair so our options for rugs are very specific and limited. We love that this is thin but I am surprised by how soft and plush this rug actually feels for being so thin. I was nervous the colors would be too bold as I wanted something a little more muted, but after scouring reviews for months, I saw other reviews that depicted the colors and I went with the Ocean/Spice color. I could not be happier with how it pulls the room together. It doesnt seem to slide around, but I don't think I have a fair assessment of that aspect since it's held down by a big table and chairs. It was important to us to get a washable/cheap rug, as my husband tracks in a lot of dirt from his wheels and puppy, especially with our dining room being right in front of the back doors. The colors help hide dirt, but so far it's held up with a quick vaccuum when needed (have not tried washing it yet, so can't report on the quality after a wash). We've had it for a month and it still looks brand new! I expect we'll have to replace it given how much traffic it endures between the wheelchair an puppy, but it was cheap so I don't mind! ... show more

Absolutely, without a doubt, I recommend this rug. It’s SO SOFT. Softest rug ever. Also laid flat as soon as I opened it up. Paired it with a 3/8” rug pad underneath for extra comfort & coziness. Design is gorgeous. Colors are amazing. Everything is perfection. I’ve searched many years for the perfect rug in our bedroom and this is without a doubt the winner!!!! :) *Make sure the rug pad is a few inches shorter than the rug you get so you avoid it flipping easily.* Highly recommend both, and it’s cat proof :) ... show more

The 4 star rating is because this rug is a great value for the price, but buying a rug based on a picture and description is always a risky endeavor as you never really know if what will arrive on your doorstep will look like the picture or something entirely different. This rug is a great example. There are some great things about this rug, including the price, but buyers should be aware of a few things too. Color: While the pictures presented a slightly faded, vintage appearance, the rug is actually quite vibrant. It even has hints of pink, yellow and green in it that you cannot really see in the pictures, giving it a more whimsical feel than vintage. I personally love it for my space, but it was unexpected, and is not something that will necessarily have universal appeal. Softness: This rug is insanely soft underfoot. In fact, it feels like a thick velvet. My family loves this about it. Thickness: This is a low-pile rug, so while it is super soft, it is not thick and lacks the weight to hold it in place. You will want a rug pad underneath. You will also want carpet tape or rug grippers to hold it in place, even with a rug pad, as it slides everywhere. We have a .5 inch pad under our rug, and it still slides around without having the rug grippers on the corners/edges to hold it in place. Quality: Let's be candid. Quality rugs are expensive, even when they are on super sale. This rug is not expensive as rugs go, even when it's not on sale, so buyers should be realistic about their expectations when buying a less expensive rug. The design is printed onto the surface of the rug, so the colors do not necessarily penetrate through to the bottom of the pile. This is not readily noticeable, but buyers should be aware. That said, we've had this rug a couple of months now in a high-traffic area of our home, and it appears to be durable. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality given the price of the rug. Cleaning: We haven't had any spills to clean up yet, but the rug vacuums well. Our dog is an overachieving shedder, and I've enjoyed the fact that this rug does not hold onto dog hair the way our old wool rug did. Vacuuming it (with the beater bars on the highest setting) is easy, breezy. If you are realistic about what you should expect given the price of the rug, this rug is a great buy. Overall, Loloi has made having a beautiful rug accessible for normal people with normal incomes with this rug. ... show more

Rug is beautiful and soft. Do recommend a rug pad if you’re placing it over hardwood floor, because it does move under foot when getting off the couch. Read some of the older reviews about quality and it seems they’ve corrected that because it looks to be a quality rug! We’re happy with the rug and it’s a great addition to our home! ... show more
