I have to drive 25 km of road to work every day, including 5 km of bumpy roads. During an hour of driving, the car phone mount is an essential thing for GPS and podcasts. I have bought and tried in my car over the years, however, none fully met my needs. Tumbling to the floor right in the middle of giving me GPS directions, It will even break my phone, giving me a safety hazard, clamps can’t hold my heavy iPhone 13 with an otterbox up......there is always something that makes them a deal breaker. I kept putting up with my last phone holder, every time after tightening the “nuts and bolts”, they stay tight for maybe a day before they start loosening up. So I have to retighten them pretty often. Anyway, I've decided not to waste another penny on the cell phone holder. Many thanks to my old friend Kevin, with whom I went on a road trip about six months ago, starting from New Mexico. His SUV also has a cell phone holder, It looks well-engineered and sturdy. What impresses me most is the silicone layer on the main body, which looks soft and can protect the phone well. We drove 1,700 miles over 1 week and the phone holder has been a very good performance, regardless of bumpy roads... Moreover, You can rotate the phone 360 degrees inside the mount, and adjust its rotational angle to get a better view, also the extended arm doesn't really 'bounce' at all. Rock steady! I asked Kevin, where did he get this, and how does it perform so well! Kevin gave me the link to the HTU store and said that their family is a loyal customer of HTU. I ordered the car phone mount on Amazon as soon as I got back from my trip, and it was delivered 2 days later. The packaging is very beautiful, each part is individually packaged, and the product feels very textured. I was excited to assemble it, it was easy to install and the instructions were written in a very clear and easy-to-understand manner. I quickly finished assembling it and installed it in my car. Amazing! The suction was great and handled the weight of my phone, especially when I needed to adjust and rotate my cellphone on a DAILY basis depending on my needs, whether I am watching my Google Maps screen or listening to my YT Music player. Also, I found that the bottom tray is very cleverly designed and solid, the previous drop-down bottom trays are very fragile, and easily get stuck or cracked. There is a wide gap at the bottom so I can easily touch the home button & unlock the screen & plug in the charging cable. It has two release buttons on either side of the stand, but you only need to press one of them to release the phone easily, the design is probably to make it easy to touch with both your left and right hand. Marvelous!! I've been using it for more than one months until now and it's been doing so well in my car. It has worked just as described until just recently. However, just recently, during a car repair, it was knocked off and when I tried to install it again, I found that the suction cups were not as sticky as they were before. So I was disappointed that I would need to buy a replacement, especially since the price did increase since I last purchased it. However, before purchasing a replacement I noticed the product had a 60-month warranty. So I emailed the products customer service department with my order number and a picture of the damaged product and got a response back the next day. Two days later I received my replacement product free of charge! What's more surprising: after I received the replacement, customer service contacted me again and told me I could try to wash the old suction cup with water and air dry it, then install it again and the suction would be back as it was. I did, and amazingly it really has the same suction power as the new one, very solid. So I have two intact car phone mounts and I decided to mount one of them on my pickup so I don't have to take it off as often! I was so very pleased with the customer service. Highly recommended!!!

As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, finding a reliable phone holder is an absolute necessity. This Dashboard Universal Car Phone Holder is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever tried. LITERALLY THE BEST phone holder you can buy! The design to take the phone in and out of the holder is so easy and GENIUS! I have been searching high and low for a good cell phone mount for my car. HTU 4-in-1 Cell Phone Holder for Car is PERFECT! I am getting ready for a road trip and needed something to hold my phone safely so I can use it for phone calls, navigation, and music (and be switching back and forth between all these functions). "Although it works great, it falls off my dashboard when the weather/sun is hot." was my first review. Within a short time I was contacted by Grace at the company. She asked if they could send me another one, which I accepted. I've since mounted it, being very careful to follow the instructions. Then I left it on for a couple of weeks to test it and HOORAY no more falling off in the hot sun. Thanks for the excellent follow up and product. Over the years I have tried numerous phone car mount holders, numerous! I searched through Amazon and rolled the dice on this particular mount made by HTU, it was well worth the gamble. The mount came in well-packaged, and simple instructions. This mount can be used on the dash, window, and vent. The major difference that I have seen and noticed is the quality, it is hands down better quality than any of the phone mounts I have purchased over the years. So, satisfied I quickly ordered another one for my other vehicle. I've had this for several days now. It's had a decent amount of city and country driving, and it's been on one road trip so far. Lots of bumpy roads and such. That's all I wanted. Holds the phone firmly in place and good suction power. I spent hours researching different makes and models of cell phone mounts until I found this one. I read through the comments and incorporated the different lessons learned into the process I used. I wish you the success I had! The items are a phone holder, a suction cup with an adjustable arm, an air vent clip, a two-wire organizer a clear instruction manual, and a wet/dry wipe. Clearly from all the details provided in the advert, the suction cup will not work on any dashboard - the dashboard has to have a flat section and cannot be leather or a rough surface with deep lines. If the HTU Cell Phone Holder does not adhere to your dashboard you can still attach the suction cup to your window (although this will result in an area where you will lose some vision) or you can use the air vent clip. I tried to mount it on my dashboard. The end result is a very stable mount. If you plan to use this part instead of the vent mount, make absolutely sure that you have a completely flat surface on your dash that’s sufficient size for the mounting. So far I have used the air vent clip - it attaches well in the car and the phone is solid in the fitting. The controls of the phone can be set above the clamps in the holder - so the phone is usable. The visibility for the phone in this position is good and there is no blocking of vision (which would occur with a windscreen attachment). I have not done a rough drive yet - but if the holder is adjusted to rest on the dashboard the phone is stable and can be viewed by both the passenger and driver. I initially tried this as a window-mounted configuration, and when I tried to remove the suction cup, it took me several tries to actually get it off. The cup does have a sticky substance on it that helps hold the mount in place for longer amounts of time. Just beware that If you move it around a lot, the suction power of the suction cup may weaken, but you can clean the suction cup with water and it will regain its original suction power, which I tried and it did. The mount is easy to manipulate if you want to change from portrait to landscape for map/GPS applications. Just make sure not to tighten the ball mount on the back too tightly, or it will be hard to move. The mount is also well padded at points where it contacts the phone, and the holders on the mount extend to a very wide width for large phones. It holds my large phone with a case, very securely with plenty of room to spare for larger phone models. I like that the mount has two release buttons on the side to expand the mount clamps when you want to remove your phone. The buttons are large and wide and can be easily touched, depending on where you have the mount, so be sure to leave some room to push the button so you can easily remove your phone when needed. All in all, a great product for the price. I would not hesitate to suggest this mount as a great option for your vehicle.

Wow... Fantastic Customer Service When Issue Occurred.

I'm a school bus driver is Texas. The country roads I driver have are very rough! The rough terrain makes the ride very bumpy. I needed a phone holder that could remain remain mounted within reach of the steering wheel. I bought other models but they could not handle the bumpy roads. I purchased the HTU unit because of the 80 pounds suction capability. I installed the HTU unit per the instructions. Half way into the first trip the suction failed and my phone and holder hit the bus floor. After the route I reached out to HTU. Grace was fantastic with support and recommendations to correct the issue. In addition she offered a full replacement or refund. Since I very much needed a phone holder to do its job on bumpy roads I elected to try the guidance she provided. Initially I mounted the holder to the deck of the CB radio. I used the portion that was smooth and would allow the complete base to be seated to the radio. Since this failed on initial ride I moved it to the dash. The dash mount worked perfectly holding with phone securely during the bumpy bus ride. In fact it's held great for the for 8 days now and I am confident the unit will continue to hold and withstand the rough roads and the HOT Texas heat. I did have a minor issue with the holder arm keeping the phone in the position I wanted. But I think this may have bee caused by fall when it lost hold on the CB radio deck. I think the radio surface was either to shiny or had a coating that preventing the hold. Bottom line HTU goes out of their way to make certain you are satisfied with the product. And if you have ongoing concerns they will replace or refund the full cost. Grace is a excellent profession with HTU. She did replace the unit and it is working great! Note: This is the first time I have ever left a review on Amazon. It took exceptional service for me to write a review. Trust me when I say "The product works great in Texas heat and very bumpy roads. If you want a phone holder to do it's job, look know further. This is the product to buy."
