Pretty Solid product but couldn't get it to stick to my dash. Guess one of the things it should indicate is that it does not stick to textured dashboards, maybe it did and I missed that. Loved the flexibility of the product though that was most certainly a plus. If I can figure out how to get it to stick to my dash that will be a plus. Instructions were easy, followed them exactly how they indicate but still have yet to get it to stick.

I'm a school bus driver is Texas. The country roads I driver have are very rough! The rough terrain makes the ride very bumpy. I needed a phone holder that could remain remain mounted within reach of the steering wheel. I bought other models but they could not handle the bumpy roads. I purchased the HTU unit because of the 80 pounds suction capability. I installed the HTU unit per the instructions. Half way into the first trip the suction failed and my phone and holder hit the bus floor. After the route I reached out to HTU. Grace was fantastic with support and recommendations to correct the issue. In addition she offered a full replacement or refund. Since I very much needed a phone holder to do its job on bumpy roads I elected to try the guidance she provided. Initially I mounted the holder to the deck of the CB radio. I used the portion that was smooth and would allow the complete base to be seated to the radio. Since this failed on initial ride I moved it to the dash. The dash mount worked perfectly holding with phone securely during the bumpy bus ride. In fact it's held great for the for 8 days now and I am confident the unit will continue to hold and withstand the rough roads and the HOT Texas heat. I did have a minor issue with the holder arm keeping the phone in the position I wanted. But I think this may have bee caused by fall when it lost hold on the CB radio deck. I think the radio surface was either to shiny or had a coating that preventing the hold. Bottom line HTU goes out of their way to make certain you are satisfied with the product. And if you have ongoing concerns they will replace or refund the full cost. Grace is a excellent profession with HTU. She did replace the unit and it is working great! Note: This is the first time I have ever left a review on Amazon. It took exceptional service for me to write a review. Trust me when I say "The product works great in Texas heat and very bumpy roads. If you want a phone holder to do it's job, look know further. This is the product to buy." As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, finding a reliable phone holder is an absolute necessity. This Dashboard Universal Car Phone Holder is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever tried. LITERALLY THE BEST phone holder you can buy! The design to take the phone in and out of the holder is so easy and GENIUS! I have been searching high and low for a good cell phone mount for my car. HTU 4-in-1 Cell Phone Holder for Car is PERFECT! I am getting ready for a road trip and needed something to hold my phone safely so I can use it for phone calls, navigation, and music (and be switching back and forth between all these functions). Considering the nightmare experience I had with my last car phone holder, tumbling to the floor right in the middle of giving me GPS directions, cheap plastic scratching my phone, clamps can’t hold my heavy iPhone 13 with an Otter Box up... there is always something that makes them a deal breaker. I kept putting up with my last phone holder, every time after tightening the “nuts and bolts,” they stayed tight for maybe a day before they started loosening up. So, I have to retighten them pretty often. Anyway, I've decided not to waste another penny on the cell phone holder. I picked this one because it was an Amazon Choice and it had almost perfect stars. After I carefully browsed its pictures and promotional videos, I decisively chose it, and the fact did not disappoint me. I made the right choice. I will explain its advantages and high quality in the following points. 👉 Appearance: The appearance is the same as described in the pictures and videos, and I even think the texture of the real thing is better, if you check carefully, you will find it has a matte black design that does not easily leave fingerprints. The sides of the clip arm and the bottom of the phone holder are protected by soft silicone pads that not only hold the phone firmly but also prevent any scratches on my phone. Perfectly solved my concerns. 👉 Quick Release: The dual side buttons are AMAZING! I just rest my phone on the “shelf” for the bottom and squeeze the sides together and it just stays put. The release buttons on both sides are a complete game changer and the phone clamp is steady. My phone won't be falling out any time soon. Going down the road with all the bumps gives no sign that the device will fail. 👉 Stability: I have also been using it for over a month and it holds my dashboard firmly even when driving on bumpy roads. It doesn't wobble at all while I'm driving! It can be used with one hand, and I can easily put my phone in the holder and take it out without distraction. 👉 Phone compatibility: This holder fits most phones, including larger models like the iPhone 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Its arms can be adjusted to fit your phone snugly and can rotate 360 degrees to position the phone at the perfect angle for navigation. 👉 Multiple installations: Coming with a suction cup and a clamp air vent. I mounted it on the windshield, so stable that I had some trouble removing it. The holder also works great on dashboard / car vents; I have also tried the air vent holder, very stable, just like the phone and the car are one. Easy to use and remove freely when mounted on the dashboard. The suction cup is washable for recycling use, after washing & air drying, the sticky is as good as new. Such a good idea!!! The installation process is quick and easy, and you can remove the holder just as easily if you need to switch it to a different car. 👉 Durable construction: When I have it in my hands, the feel of my skin and the weight of this holder convinced me that it has exceptional quality (just as advertised). The product is an artwork, the cutting is neat, and all parts of the mount are made of exceptionally fine and high-quality material. The value and quality of this car mount surpassed my expectations! 👉 One-handed operation: I need something that doesn’t take much time and requires me to use both of my hands just to put my phone on a mount. If I can use one hand, it’s a 10/10 for me. I’m always on the go and I require that my phone stays securely on the car mount. If my phone were to fall on the floor, it would be super dangerous for me to look down and find my phone on the floor. I carry this car mount through many cities, and it ensures I can get where I need to go. When it's cool outside I'll use the suction cup and when it's hot I'll move the mount to the vents. Either way, It all works fine. Overall, I am very satisfied with this shopping experience, not only because of the product quality, but also because it helped me save money.
