  • Reinforced Nesting Area for Peace of Mind, Even at Night: Curious raccoons? Wandering foxes? With four thick L-brackets reinforcing the nesting box frame, your egg section stays strongday or night. When your hens are roosting, you can rest easy knowing their space is built to hold up.
  • Curved Wood Roof: Unlike asphalt roofs that trap heat and warp over time, this curved solid wood top helps reflect sun, shed rain, and keep the inside coolerbecause summer should feel safe, not stifling. Your flock deserves better comfort season after season.

  • 4 Roost Bars, Including a Swinging Perch: Inside the coop, two fixed roost bars offer your hens a safe place to rest at night. In the run, one more fixed perch and a swinging perch add movement, variety, and fun to their daily routine. Some chickens enjoy the gentle sway of the swingit keeps them curious, more active, and less bored between feedings.
  • Easy Entry and Cleaner Maintenance from Both Sides: No more awkward reaching. Dual drop-down doors double as ramps, giving chickens smoother access in and out. The pull-out tray slides from the front or backwhichever suits your routineand locks securely in place, even with curious birds nearby.

Description

My silkies took to this coop right away and were using the ramp on day one. I really like how easy it is for them to move between the house and the run without hesitation. It feels like a comfortable little setup for their daily routine, and they seem completely at ease going in and out on their own. One of my favorite features is the swing—it gives my girls a fun little place to perch and play throughout the day. It encourages movement, adds enrichment to their space, and makes the coop feel more engaging than a basic setup. It’s such a simple detail, but it really adds to their daily enjoyment. My silkies really love this outdoor chicken coop. It's a great size for a small flock and gives them a nice balance of covered shelter and run space to walk around, perch, eat, and stay active during the day. I also like how nicely it fits into our backyard and how easy it is to access for daily feeding and checking on them. If you need a wooden chicken coop for a few hens, especially silkie hens or other smaller breeds, this setup works really well. This chicken coop has been such a great setup for my baby chickens. They settled in quickly, started eating and exploring right away, and the ramp makes it easy for them to move between the coop and the run. I really like having a cozy sheltered space together with room outside for feeding and daily activity. For anyone looking for a backyard chicken coop for chicks or a small flock, this has been a practical and comfortable little home. I was really happy to see how comfortable my girls looked inside the coop so quickly. They seemed relaxed, calm, and completely at ease, which made me feel like this setup was the right choice for them. It’s become a cozy little shelter where they can rest comfortably and feel secure. • Great coop!!
Size: 83.0"L x 58.0"W x 39.5"H
Coop is very spacious and easy to put together!

  • Do NOT buy
Size: 83.0"L x 58.0"W x 39.5"H
First of all. The coop came in two shipments. Not a huge deal, just would have been nice to know ahead of time. The item arrived broken. The legs were broken and several other pieces had damage (it was not the shipping company as the box had no damage). The instructions are very unclear and many holes were not pre-drilled (would have split if I hadn’t drilled them first). Several screws on the pre-assembled parts had also fallen out. Lastly, the wood is cheap and will most likely rot within a year. And the coop says it is rated for 4-6 birds. Don’t be fooled. It’s barely big enough for 2. I tried to get a refund but they wanted me to ship it back and I could not fit it all back in the box so I chose to eat my loss. I ended up shoring up/replacing the broken pieces since we are handy. It’s kind of pretty but would NOT buy again nor recommend. Save your money and get another coop for your yard birds. ... show more

  • My Silkie girls took to it right away, love the swing!
Size: 83.0"L x 58.0"W x 39.5"H
I picked this coop because I wanted something that felt secure and easy for them to use.Since silkies are on the smaller side, the size works perfectly for my flock they were curious as soon as it was set up and started going in and out like it was already theirs. I really like the attach run because it gives my girls a little extra space to scratch around, they especially love the swing —it's so fun to watch them hop on and play. It also makes feeding ,checking on them, and cleaning a lot easier. It's a cute coop, but more importantly,it's been a practical home for them. ... show more

  • Choose a bigger coop if you have more than 4 chickens
Edit: purchased in March and it is now May. While the coop is functional, already showing signs of wear and tear, the roof opening is already loose, the run doors are already difficult to close and open. But this would be expected for the price and our climate. This is a well made coop, cute and works well. But I’m wondering how well it will do once my chickens get to be adults. The double runs are nice but short. In hindsight I would have chosen another one with a taller run. I wish I had chosen the one where the coop is on top of a walkway for the chickens, or a taller coop in general. The slide out cleaning tray is impossible to use with both runs on. One run must be removed to slide the tray out. Overall, it works well for now but probably will need to replaced or modified by the end of summer when the chickens are bigger. ... show more

  • Not My Favorite Purchase
Size: 83.0"L x 58.0"W x 39.5"H
I'm gonna give this a solid 3. Overall I don't dislike this coop, but there's a few issues. To start, the directions to put it together are pretty bad, especially for the run. We had a very difficult time figuring that out and had to take it apart once and put it back together. Also, the wood splits in spots when you would go to drill into it. Not enough to where I felt like asking for a replacement, but it is visible in certain areas. My biggest complaint is the size of the coop and the run. I would say this is probably only suitable for four full-sized chickens total max (and even that's pushing it), especially if you don't expand the run. They do not sell a run expansion with a peaked top for this kit. They will only sell you another full kit. I reached out to the seller to ask and they offered me a small discount on another full kit. When I asked if they would just discount another hen house they sell without a run so that I could attach it to a bigger run that I purchased for less money, they refused. What was funny about it was that they were offering me a bigger discount originally, $30, and all I was asking is if they would cover the $20 for shipping on the hen house. I am needing to house six chickens, so I am working around this without having to spend close to another $300. While I appreciated their offer on the second kit, I found it a little disingenuous since they wouldn't offer me a smaller discount on the cheaper item. As it stands, I will purchase another hen house from a different seller. I find it funny that they are willing to lose out on a $90 sale over $20, but it is what it is. ... show more

  • Meets my expectations
Size: 83.0"L x 58.0"W x 39.5"H
I really loved this. I was able to assemble it without issue and without assistance. It met all my expectations and my little Fluffly Butts are absolutely happy with it. I did add several coats of clear coat outdoor wood sealer to every last inch of the wood before I put any of it together. I just wanted to make extra sure the Fluffs stayed fluffy. And they do. The high ground on the property lacks shade, so I added a sun shade as well. The sign is mine too. ... show more

  • Danger, Danger, Danger
Size: 61.1"L x 38.0"W x 40.2"H
I would not recommend this coop if you live in an area where you get ANY breeze, gusts or wind. I only had the coop for 4 days with chickens in it when a little gust of wind lifted the roof that had the hinge on it, flipped it open and since the pine is not strong wood, it ripped the hinge right out of the frame it was attached to so I couldn’t reattach it. It was going to get down to about 33 degrees yhat night so i had to tie the roof back on to the coop and now I can’t access the nesting box to retrieve the eggs. Also when the humidity gets a little higher the drawer to clean the coop out with doesn’t slide. a better paint might help that. I have 3 lkarge hens and they pretty much fill the box, 4 would be very crowded. It’s cute, buy not practical if you are trying to raise eggs to eat. Suggestions: Use better wood at least in the framing part of it so it stays together. Use better paint because this is an outdoor item ,sun, rain, snow. etc My three hens lay their eggs all in the same nest. eliminate 3 of the nesting boxes and make the rest living space for the chickens, especially when the weather is not pleasant for humans or chickens. ... show more
