For the price it packs a lot of punch for a basic battery charger, it was able to charge my dead battery that was sitting for 3months, so im in the process of getting another one of these. coz they work as advertised

First of all, this works exactly as it's supposed to. It charges flooded, gel, and AGM batteries which are becoming more and more popular in newer vehicles. It's very easy to use, has multiple connection options like battery clamps, bolt on terminals and a power outlet/ cigarette lighter plug (which is something I've never seen before in a battery charger/maintainer. See my pictures to see what I'm talking about. Now for the "could be improved" items: The bolt on terminals have too short of wiring attached. I like to run those farther away from the battery, but these are too short to do that. You won't be able to run it and secure it somewhere on something like a motorcycle that doesn't have easy access to the battery. The unit is not weather sealed, similar products from other brands are. Bottome line, this seems well built, the wires and connections are good quality and should last a long time. A few minor improvements and this could be great!

I bought this item for the set of permanently attachable leads. The reality of things were the leads were way too short and the ring terminals are made from beer can thick metal. That whole assembly is just way too cheap but I installed it anyway. When test time came that harness wouldn't plug into the charger so all that work was wasted. We went with the clamp on leads with all the same issues but was connectable to the charger. The charger itself says it's working but so would any other charger and if the transfer of power to the battery is not sturdy, difficult or impossible then what's the point. This package was designed by another corporation whose main objective is the race is to the bottom in quality. I would not even go so far to say it's amateur equipment. I understand now why no one carries interstate batteries in my town anymore.
