They don't absorbed any sound. I thought it would help to help with the reverb in the room but it made zero difference. They are too thing to make any kind of real impact. Id return them but they are on my wall and if I pull them off im pretty sure my paint will come off with them.

Update: do not install these using the built in adhesive unless you are sure you will never ever want to take them down. Had to take a few panels down to install some cabinets, and I’ve spent 3 hours scraping and scrubbing the adhesive off the wall for ONE panel. Have used rubbing alcohol, goo gone, heat gun, razor scrapers, etc but these leave an absolute mess on the wall that is near impossible to remove
