The instructions were good until one point where you put something together then you realize hey they didn't say to put this in here and then you have to go back and take stuff apart and then put it all back together so disappointing there where the instructions are kind of sketchy other than that put it up and it's working okay so far it's only been a day

Yes the style of the fan is great and it is easy to install, but the most important thing about a ceiling fan is the airflow that is produced. The motor in this fan clearly CANNOT handle the size of the fan blades and the number of blades on it. They do a good job of avoiding outright false advertisment by just giving a general comparison of AC and DC motors of stating that "In the summer, the forward mode allows air to flow downward and large industrial ceiling fans have a good airflow of 8300CFM to keep you cool." What they intentional fail to mention is that THIS "large industrial" fan does not come close to producing that type of CFM output. It was disappointing to find out that they intentionally do not disclose in the description that the fan only produces around 5200 CFM. That fact is only learned when you receive the product and see it listed on the box. A ceiling fan with 8 blades and a span of 72" that only is capable of producing 5200 CFM is an obvious sign that the motor is not strong enough to handle that many blades of that size. You would get a higher air output from a fan that has shorter blades and a similar motor because the motor would be able to handle the weight and spin faster. If you are looking for a fan that functions the way it should and produces a decent amount of airflow, then absolutely do not waste your time and money on this one. It is TRASH. This company is hoping that by showing a bunch of blades and a span of 72" you will think that it is the perfect fan for a large room, which is why they do not outright tell you that it only produces 5200 CFM. Of course, if all you care about is a pretty fan and could careless about whether or not you can actually feel the air moving, then this one is absolutely perfect.
