This fan has been a lifesaver in this humid Louisiana heat!!! It cools down this huge space in little to no time. It has also helped on our A/C bill because we don’t have to drop it so low to maintain a comfortable temperature. Even if I just set the fan on 1-3. EDIT: ZMISHIBO's customer service reached out after I wrote this review, and was amazingly helpful! They offered me a partial refund after learning of the issues I had with the product, and their customer service was extremely polite, helpful, and communicative. I've revised the score from 3/5 to 5/5 to represent this experience. The fan was extremely easy to assemble. It took about an hour with the included tools, and was easily doable with only one person. The packaging included a few spares for each type of fastener, so you have replacements if you lose one or two. One minor issue I had with the attachment of the cover plates to the blades was that the holes were slightly misaligned, so that it was slightly difficult to thread the screws into the blades through the cover plates. It didn't affect the attachment, but added a bit of irritation into the assembly process. The hardware, like most cheaper household furniture items, is not very high quality, and if you're not careful, the screw heads will strip quite easily. Installation was very simple. The included wireless fan controller and wiring harnesses mean that you simply have to attach the ceiling mount to a joist, lift the fan into position, and then attach the ground, neutral, and hot wires. The fan functions well, with one issue: it's extremely difficult to balance the blades, because there are eight of them. It's very rare that a fan doesn't wobble a bit, but that problem is usually pretty easy to solve by checking which blade(s) is out of alignment with the others. However, with there being eight different blades, good luck figuring out which blade(s) is the one causing the problem! There are simply too many variables to get it adjusted correctly.

I needed to replace the ceiling fan and light in my office. It was at a good price and had good reviews. My husband and son put it up and together in an hour. Used the medium length down pole that was included in the set. Have the black side blades down as it was a better match for my office. I like how it looks, how it moves air around (we live in central Florida so that is important to me). I enjoy that the light has different tempters to it. If you are looking for a nice ceiling fan with a light, then I would recommend that you seriously consider this one.

Pretty straight forward to assemble (like most ceiling fans). Instructions could be better as some of the pictures did not match the actual steps. Pros: Fan works great! the variable 6 speeds are awesome. It uses about the same amount of electricity as our old 54 inch AC fan at full speed, but pushes significantly more air. So instead of running the fan at full speed all the time, we have been running it at half speed (speed setting 3), which uses a lot less energy/wattage (speed 3 = roughly uses 21 Watts compared to AC fan which was roughly around 47 Watts). Cons: The LED light is rubbish. It does technically light up the room at night, but it's not nearly enough compared to our old fan that had 3 light bulbs. I wish the LED light was A LOT brighter (and had variable light control as the switch on the remote control only cycles through the 3 lighting colors).

My husband and I converted our garage into a bedroom after having our third child. We went to Lowes and Home Depot and didn't find anything we loved and also, we were trying to save some money too because converting a garage into a room isn't cheap. We both get hot when we sleep so we knew we wanted a large fan to really get the air moving. I was dead set on a fan that was black because I think it looks very clean and will always stay in style. We agreed upon this fan as it had the key elements we were looking for in a fan with an added bonus! This comes with a remote that has 6 different fan speeds (you can really tell a difference in all of them) and 3 different light settings. Some people have different light preferences, so I think that's a cool addition. I'm not sure how difficult it will be when the light eventually needs changed but we will cross that bridge when the time comes. If you're looking to get the most bang out of your buck and are looking for the things we were looking for.. This is the fan for you. Please like!

I was really hoping this fan would live up to my expectations. It looks great, has a remote control, and DC fans are typically quiet and efficient. The first fan I received made a lot of noise. It seemed to be coming from the fan motor itself. I exchanged that one for another one. The results were not much better. It is noisy on startup but was quiet once it was going. The fan would randomly trip the breaker as well. Initially, I assumed it was short, but after some digging, I discovered that on the higher speed settings, the fan would randomly surge and cause the breaker to trip. I was able to verify this with a DMM. When it did run, and was not making noise, this thing is VERY nice. It moves a ton of air and is very quiet. I really wanted this to work. I thought about exchanging it yet again, but the fan was to be installed at a height of 13 feet, and that was a bit too much work to risk a 3rd try.
