    • Beautiful quiet fan with difficult installation

The fan is great- I’ve installed 3 and been running them for hours every day for about a month on my back patio. I’m in Arizona and it’s been 100 degree plus. Extremely quiet, strong air movement and love that I can select from a range of colors and dimming on the light. It’s a really nice looking fan. I installed them because I was hosting a rehearsal dinner for my daughter’s wedding and received lots of positive feedback from my guests (and my very picky wife loves them 😉). Once they are up, they seem to be a great fan. The problem is the installation. I’ve installed a lot of ceiling fans for both myself and as a handyman and there are a couple issues that have to do with making the tolerates too tight that honestly made installing the first of the fans an absolute nightmare that really tested my patience. The remote control receiver has to be placed in the housing where the dropdown rod fits into the cradle. Its a tight fit before factoring it the wires that come up through the rod. Once the wires are there it becomes a very careful and thoughtful exercise in patience and persistence to maneuver/gently force the receiver into that tight space. I learned off the first fan how to get around some of the spacing issues and how to route the wires through, but even with that it still felt like the the box really wasn’t made to go there and never went in easy. Be prepared for that and be very careful to not run anything through that space you can’t push to the side. If the manufacturer had just add 1cm (1/4 inch) of space it would have been a very easy install. So- fan is great, parts of the install are a pain. One last note- on two of the fans the bolts/screws that attach the blade to the mounts had trouble. It was the screws/bolts, rather it was the “nut” or hole they screwed into. I think they weren’t properly deburred or perhaps had some gunk in them. the screws will stick and can strip and become stuck. If you take a minute before attaching the blades to the metal mount brackets and carefully take one of the screws and thread them in and then back out then in again if they stick, it clears the threading out and the blades attach easily. Just a tip there. In summary, once assembled the fans run great, look great and are both quite and powerful. Expect some frustration when assembling and be patient and thoughtful. I saw a very similar fan at Home Depot for almost triple the cost, so I’m going to say it’s a good value. Even with the installation issues I’d still buy it again. ... show more

Wow! Very nice fan. Assembled in about an hour and another hour for installation. The trick is to feed the remote control receiver above bracket holding the fan. Nicely trimmed out so you don't see the wires and fastners. And did I mention this thing is huge? It moves plenty of air silently on the lowest setting and a hurricane at the top speed. Even on high, there was no noticeable wobble. The light is bright and adjusts color to match existing lighting. I would buy again if I needed another fan. ... show more

I have just installed these fans but love them from the start. The size fits my area well and the volume of air from the fans is better than expected. This fan looks great and the LED light is bright with adjustments to make it a softer or brighter light. The amount of light from this fan is great. The quality of this product looks good from the initial installation and the instructions were clear. The remote control is easy to use and the layout is intuitive. It comes with a holder to mount the remote in an easily accessible location. I did not like that the fan does not have a separate circuit for the lights and fan as I have two separate switches to control the fan and light. I have purchased remote control fans in the past that had separate circuits but didn’t think to look for that with this purchase. Overall a great looking and quality purchase. ... show more

Fan looks great in our livingroom. We have very tall ceilings, so we painted and reused the pole that came from our previous fan due to the one that came with the unit wasnt long enough. Worked PERFECTLY! Easy to install... as long as you have the right equipment if you have high ceilings. Great value for the money. Size is great, speed and lighting are nice. I'm a WARM LIGHT type of person, so I appreciate that option on the remote, along with the other options. Oh yea, there's also a holder to screw or adhere to the wall to keep the remote easily accessible. We're still getting used to the functions on the fan, so please bear with me as I show the functions, lol. I'm showing the warm and brighter light that can have less or more light (very nice feature, IMO). The fan setting is on one. I personally like the beeping noise when remote functions are pressed, but others may not. All in all. WE LOVE IT🙂 ... show more

This fan is awesome. Looks like I have a helicopter in my living room. I really puts out a lot of air. I personally wish it was Alexa controlled but that is a minor issue. Overall I would buy again it i had to.

Assembling the fan and hanging was a chore but well worth it. The 72” fan circulates the air much better than the previous 52” one that was replaced. Very quiet and cool. The LED light has several settings and shades. I highly recommend this fan.

Checked wiring thrice. We installed this fan the same day we installed three other fans and they all worked very well. I’m sure the manufacturer will say we didn’t install correctly but it was and the light worked fine but the fan did not work. We got a faulty piece and had no response from customer service. I sent an email moments after we tested the busted fan. I really wish I’d ordered this size in the other brand I got. The Amico brand worked so well! ... show more
