Good value for the price. Glad pulley was included and installed by mfg. It's quiet and works. NOTE: Service manuals say go under the vehicle to access lower bolt and remove unit.     • Installation notes.
The alternator is not to hard to install for a seasoned shade tree mechanic. You will need a 10, 12, and 14mm socket. Don’t use a deep socket to remove the lower bolt of the alternator or you will get pinned against the wheel well. The belt tensioner has two idler pulleys. You will need a pipe extension over your ratchet on the upper idler to loosen and re-install the belt. I used a two inch aluminum pipe. The handle of a heavy duty jack will work too. I had trouble removing the electrical plug on the back of the alternator. Good luck 🍀 ... show more

    • Poor quality worked for a couple months, then crapped out
I would give zero stars if I could seemed poor quality but installed anyway it lasted three months of hardly using it and then just stopped charging

The alternator itself is a great deal and worked fine but you must measure with a pair of calipers the width were the bolt mounts to the engine on the alternator and compare the old one with the new one the old one was 45.2 mil and the new one was 46.7 so i had to grind which was no big deal the head of the bushing were the bolt go thru so it will match the width and you'll be good to go, somewhere between 45.3 to 45.4 should be good. ... show more

    • Sturdy and good materials
As of right now, this part fit a 2006 Acura MDX. It feels very sturdy and not cheap. I'm praying that it will function as needed. I will update in a few weeks.
