I bought this to replace one I had bought several years ago from the same company. I noticed a squeaking within a few minutes of installation. The noise subsided but came back with a vengeance in a few days. Now it is screaming and grinding. Bearing failure right out of the box. Although the bearing does not show any symptoms when removed from the vehicle. Spins freely off the car. It is outside the window for return so I am out. The alternator itself is a great deal and worked fine but you must measure with a pair of calipers the width were the bolt mounts to the engine on the alternator and compare the old one with the new one the old one was 45.2 mil and the new one was 46.7 so i had to grind which was no big deal the head of the bushing were the bolt go thru so it will match the width and you'll be good to go, somewhere between 45.3 to 45.4 should be good. ... show more

The unit came on time and well packaged. I was disappointed that the lower bushing was .09 too large to be installed. This was especially toublesome since pulling out and maneuvering back into the space was the most time consuming task. I had to go thru this multi times to get the right fit by filing down the rear side of the bushing. Once installed, working great.
