Features

  • Natural Fir Wood Construction: Built from fir wood, this large chicken coop offers a stable structure for daily use and supports a natural living environment for your flock.
  • Waterproof PVC Roof with Grooved Design: The grooved roof channels rainwater away to reduce pooling and leaks, helping protect the wooden frame. It helps keep the interior dry during outdoor weather.
  • Six Lockable Laying Crates: This hen house includes six laying crates that give hens designated nesting spaces. Each crate can be locked to help deter egg theft and provide secure nesting.
  • Heavy-Duty Wheels for Mobility: Equipped with four wearresistant wheels (two lockable, two nonlockable), this coop can be moved by one person. Repositioning it to fresh grass helps keep the flock clean and provides access to fresh vegetation.
  • Side Ventilation and Four Entrances: Ventilation openings improve air circulation, while four entrances allow chickens to move in and out of the coop easily.

Description

Give your flock a durable, portable shelter with this spacious wooden chicken coop. Made from natural fir wood and featuring a waterproof PVC grooved roof, it keeps the interior dry in various weather conditions. Four lockable laying crates provide hens with private nesting spaces and help protect eggs. The coop includes heavy-duty wheels for easy one-person relocation, multiple entrances for free movement, and an extra-large slide-out tray that simplifies cleaning. With ventilated side openings and widened, thickened perches designed to reduce claw strain, this unit is built to house 4–6 hens while supporting their health and daily activities.

  • Perfect for growing chicks Perfect for growing chicks
Color: Reddish-Brown
This is the perfect tiny coop for my personal needs. I researched a lot of different coops before settling on this one. I keep mine under a metal roof cover to protect it from rain, and it's inside a small, secure, predator-proofed chicken run. It's mainly shaded throughout the day in that area which limits sun exposure. So know that I do not have it fully outside, completely exposed to the elements. It took my husband and I about an hour or so to put it together. The instructions are pretty clear and illustrated and we had no issues. I like that it's made from lightweight fir and it seems pretty sturdy. The castors elevate it and make it really easy to move. There's a ton of space inside thanks to the four nesting boxes on the sides. The pull out drawer floor makes it really easy to clean, and the top also hinges open which also helps with cleaning and access. The nesting boxes don't open as wide but that's probably due to the weatherproofing strips you install to keep water from dripping in. There are wooden bars to prop all of the tops open. It has a sliding window for ventilation that's covered with hardware cloth. It's got three roosting bars inside which are great for chicks but really too narrow for older chickens' feet. If you're planning to use this coop with full size chickens, I'd suggest installing some wider bars for their feet. However, you could fit quite a few full size chickens in here, especially since they all squish together when they roost. I'd say you'd probably cap out at 6 depending on their size; more with bantams. I am using it specifically for chicks I am raising before they are integrated into the flock, as well as a "sick ward" for chickens I need to quarantine from everyone else when that need arises. So this is not where mine will be living full time, which is why it's perfect for me. I plan on having my 19 chicks in here within the next couple of weeks; it's currently housing 4 who are a bit older than my last batch. It will easily fit that many since they're so small. Since those 4 are only three weeks old, I have a heated brooding plate inside to keep them warm at night, which is the perfect setup for chicks who are still so small. The thermometer I have inside the coop confirms that it's staying pretty warm in there even when the temps are still dipping at night. One of the nesting box latches immediately came apart when I pulled on it (see photo). The screws ripped right out of the wood. You may have to do some more predator-proofing on your own to ensure it's a safe place for your chickens. I'm not going to bother fixing that latch, since it's inside a safe run already. Just be prepared to purchase and install more secure latches. ... show more

  • cute little henhouse

This is a very attractive coop that is fairly easy to put together. I got it on sale and, with an Amazon coupon, paid $170 for it. It rolls easily, is lightweight and seems to be of good quality.

Follow instructions and you shouldn't have any problems. I did waterseal it for added rain protection. Plenty large for my 5 chickens.

  • 5-Minute Cleanup? Yes, Please!
Color: Reddish-Brown
Can we take a moment to appreciate the extra-large sliding tray? Cleaning the coop used to be such a chore, but now? I just slide it out, hose it down, and I'm done in literally five minutes. It's revolutionary! And with the four entrances and side vents, my chickens have all the airflow and freedom they need—no squabbling over doors! It's spacious, it's airy, and it's ridiculously easy to maintain. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time chicken owner, this chicken coop makes raising a happy, healthy flock the easiest and most enjoyable thing ever. 10/10 recommend! ... show more
