Description
What are the requirements for voltage, gas pressure, and water pressure during use? Ensure the battery provides a stable 12V DC voltage. The input gas pressure should be 0.4 PSI, and the water pressure should not be lower than 10 PSI, with a water flow rate of at least 2.8 L/min. What should be noted when using the water heater in cold winter? If the water heater isn't used, don't turn off the power and gas supply. There is an anti-freeze protection, which requires both power and gas to activate. Otherwise, the water tank may freeze or even crack, rendering the heater inoperable. What should you do if water heater is not used for a long time? We recommend completely draining the tank if the unit will not be used for a long period. Replaced another brand that unfortunately froze and busted over the winter. This one works great!! 124° is PLENTY HOT for a quick shower in the Rv while boondocking. Definitely was not disappointed with buying a less expensive brand. Recommend it 100%!!!

Poukaran RV Tankless Water Heater

Well, so far so good. The install was quick and easy — took about 1.5 hours start to finish. Everything fired right up on the first try. I’ll update this review later after I get more use out of it, but I’m very happy with it so far. I’ve had a tankless on a previous RV (different brand) that would sometimes error out mid-shower and shut off, which was inconvenient to say the least. This Poukaran has been solid so far. I tested it both with my onboard water pump and city water hookup. City water obviously has much stronger flow, but the heater worked well on both setups without issue. For now, I mounted the control panel under my kitchen sink until I get time to run the cable up to the bathroom. (My water heater is at the back of the RV on the passenger side, and the bathroom is on the driver side toward the front. I’ll need to drop the belly plates to route the cable.) I was encouraged to see so many 5-star reviews before buying, and for the price this thing really is a steal. Many other tankless RV water heaters cost twice as much (or more) for the same performance and comfort. If it continues working this well, it’s hands-down one of the best upgrades I’ve done.

Great on-demand water heater

The screws it comes with break easily.

Other than the screws that come with it suck, everything else about this is so far great. It was VERY easy to install. Anyone who understands how a battery works can wire this thing in. It comes with its own fuse and everything. I felt that the wires to the control panel were a bit short, so I used thermostat wires to fill the gap and that worked great. (I mean the control panel looks like a thermostat to me. 😂) seriously the wires worked fine, just pick any 2 colors and it doesn’t matter what wire is plugged in when it comes to the control panel. As for the water hook up, and propane it was extremely easy. I was able to use my old stuff form the old hot water heater and thats it. No other equipment was required. I recommend if you’re interested in getting this unit to get your own screws, sealant for the outside, gauge 14 wire, and some extra wire nuts.

Buyer beware

It was easy enough to install, worked fine the first trip we used it but no longer works correctly. No matter what temperature settings we try it just makes the water too hot to be under. So pretty pricey for a one trip use.
