These solar lights way out did my expectations. I used them outside around my chicken coop. The remote is super convenient and I like all the different settings to choose from. Great lights great price but they aren't truly solar powered. They have a space to plug up and they have a solar panel but the solar panel does not seem to be charging my lights. I have to keep bringing the panel in and plugging up. It i wanted wired light s I would have chosen them initially

The good: Lights arrived on time & in good condition. Easy to hang up as each light had a hook and tie wraps were also included. A spare lamp was also included as well as mounting hardware for the panel. The first 6 feet or so of the 60 foot string had no lights, just the cord which attached to the solar panel, which was OK, but I was disappointed I could not use the full 60 feet for lighting. Came with a remote control with a few special effects for the lamps, timer and intensity control. Lamps automatically came on at dusk. The Not So good: Illumination was quite dim, even at full intensity. Even after a full day in the sun and panel read full charge, lamps would only run for about 2 hours which was very disappointing. I tried to like this product but ended up returning them for credit as they didn't meet my needs. I wish I had paid more attention to other the other mediocre reviews that were give before I ordered. ... show more

Bought these lights for my backyard, they worked great and even with the constant storms in Texas they have stayed in tact due to high durability and they continue to look great. The one downside I have is they don’t go very bright. I have a very small backyard in a townhome and was hoping for more visibility around the space. These lights should be considered more for ambient or mood lighting outside in addition to other lighting options. The solar panel is nice to have so I don’t worry about it taking power from the house. ... show more
