Heats up really fast, you can use tap water, and produces a lot of steam. In general, these steam cleaners all present exaggerated portraits of what they can accomplish. None of them, including this one, makes stains and grime magically disappear, but this one is far better than most, and I am happy with it. I followed the directions to apply the attachments and the steam does work BUT this thing just pours out too much water when it’s on. I expect it to drip some water but not this much It does heat up quickly and makes good seam but I can’t use this anywhere but a bathtub or sink due to the water pouring out of the end. None of the other videos I watched had water pouring out like this. I emailed customer support from the instruction book to see what assistance I can get. Update: they advised the water pouring out is a defect especially if the water ring seals are in place correctly. They are sending me a new device. I already know this steamer is great because aside from the water pouring out it does a good job on the one thing i tried to clean with it. ... show more

So disappointed after reading good reviews. I was suspicious upon receipt because the box appeared to have been opened from the bottom and all the accessories had been opened. I decided I would give it a try anyway. The first and only time I used it it leaked immediately. Returning today.

My wife uses this primarily on our oven; it is better than most oven cleaners, and really is effective in small crevices. It will make a mess of the water, so make sure you have some old towels around to clean up the mess.
