My B150 6 inch wood chipper with the zonsen 459cc engine arrived within a week on a pallet in a box truck with a liftgate. It was nicely packaged in a plywood box with no external damage. However, upon opening, I unfortunately discovered a damaged fuel tank and pull start cover. Both parts dented. I contacted MechMaxx and they were great! The agreed to replace both parts and I already received tracking for the pull start cover within days. This machine is heavy duty for the backyard user so assembly is a bit of a chore, but it's worth it. A helper would be great, but I managed assembly alone. I'm sure this is a rare issue, but I want to be thorough. When I originally went to start my Zonsen engine, it wouldn't fire. I immediately pulled the spark plug to test for spark and found none. After a little time ensuring all safety switches weren't the cause, I removed the cover over the electric start wiring and quickly found the yellow wire for the oil sensor had been pinched and exposed during assembly by the bolt holding the cover I had just removed. I wrapped that exposed wire with heat shrink and the engine fired right up. Notice I've still given this machine a 5-star rating because after fixing the damaged parts and the rare wire mishap, this is a great machine. Way more capable than the $500 212cc wood chippers that are so common. This is a beast. I would say expecting it to chew through any 6 inch diameter logs is unrealistic, but it does handle 3.5 or 4 inch fresh cut stuff just fine. I've already cleaned up several large brush piles and the large blades show zero signs of wear. I also want to mention the accessibility to clean and service the blades is soooo nice. With just two latches on each side of the cutting drum, the blades are right there. Very nice machine.

Overall a very good machine for the price. The shipping container was substantial and the item was received in good condition. Assembly took some extra time due to the item being larger and heavier than anticipated. Myself being 76 and my wife being 71 needed to proceed slowly but were aided with the help of an engine hoist. Printed documentation received with the unit was somewhat sparse but the online assembly video was very good. After successful assembly I added oil and gas and proceeded to check out the capability of the chipper shredder. Functioning exceeded my expectations in processing both small waste and twigs along with larger branches very rapidly. This was much better than the small suposidly 3" capable chipper I had been using previously. I consider this unit a very good investment and would recommend it if the specifications meet requirements.

I finally pulled the trigger on the ZONSEN 6" 459cc 15HP Gas Powered Wood Chipper/Shredder/Mulcher (P4206) and my only regret is not buying it sooner. This thing works extremely well. I've been feeding it branches, brush, and leaves and it chews through everything I throw at it like it's nothing. The 15HP engine has serious power and doesn't bog down, even on thicker limbs. The mulch it produces is clean and consistent, perfect for spreading around the garden beds. The towbar is a great addition too — makes it easy to haul around the property behind my mower or ATV. One thing I will mention: plan on having a couple of strong helpers around for assembly. This machine has some real weight to it, and getting certain parts lined up and bolted together is definitely a two- or three-person job. Don't try to wrestle it together solo unless you're looking for a serious workout. Once it's assembled though, it's rock solid and feels built to last. Bottom line — if you've been on the fence about getting a chipper, stop thinking about it and just get this one. It's a workhorse. I honestly wish I had bought it a long time ago. Would have saved me countless hours of dragging brush piles and bagging leaves. Highly recommend!

No wiring diagram so I have a 500 lump of steel with no way to use it. Contacts with manufacturer have proven to be fruitless. Update 07/16/2025: It is difficult to write a fair review for this item. This is a quality machine. It is well engineered, well constructed, and does what it is advertised to do. Shipping came a bit early and was done professionally. Shipped in a plywood container on a sturdy pallet. Shipped in pieces and required assembly. NOTE: it takes two people to assemble this as it is quite heavy. Wife and I got it put together, but there were a half a dozen wires hanging about and no instructions for connecting the wiring. Contacted MechMaxx's customer service multiple times and was told I would be contacted by their Amazon group. Never happened so after about a week of no response I filed a dispute with my credit card company and notified Amazon of my dissatisfaction. Within 24 hours I heard from MechMaxx and they began sending me wiring diagrams and photos. They also told me that there was a jumper wire missing that they would ship from overseas. Machine wouldn't start without that wire. About a week later, I received the jumper wire, installed it, the electric start wouldn't work, but the pull start worked and the machine started and ran fine. I discovered the battery was defective and would not charge. Contacted MechMaxx customer service and they told me to buy a new battery and they would reimburse me. Got a new battery, charged it and the electric start worked great. When I received the jumper cable, I contacted my credit card company and removed my dispute. Nothing was ever charged back to Amazon and I paid in full for this machine. However, Amazon did charge back the purchase to MechMaxx for some unknown reason. MechMaxx reached out to me to help them resolve the charge back. I contacted Amazon customer service multiple times trying to resolve this. Each time I was told the Charge Back Unit would contact me within 24 hours. Never happened. BOTTOM LINE: I ordered this machine, I received this machine, I assembled this machine, I paid for this machine, I resolved operational issues with MechMaxx, I have tried to resolve payment issues between Amazon and their vendor. I am happily chipping slash timber with this quality machine. I'm out $80 for a replacement battery and charger. MechMaxx is out $2k+ for the mysterious Amazon charge back.
