Description

We wanted an indoor rabbit hutch that could stay in the room with us instead of being tucked away somewhere else. After adding our own water bottle, hay, and daily supplies, our bunny started using the lower run, ramp, and enclosed upper room as different parts of his routine. One of the things we appreciate most is having more than one way to reach inside. The lift-up top and front access doors make it more convenient to replace bedding, check the different areas, and handle everyday cleanup without taking the hutch apart. We added our own fleece liners, bowls, and hideouts to turn the lower area into an indoor setup for our guinea pigs. They have separate places for food, rest, and exploring, while the large front door gives us better access when it’s time to refresh the bedding. At first, we weren’t sure how quickly our bunnies would use the ramp. One was climbing toward the upper loft while the other explored the hideout and hay area below. Now they move between the different sections as part of their everyday routine. Our bunny has several places to settle down, but the space under the ramp quickly became one of his favorite spots. We added our own bedding to the lower level, and he likes stretching out there whenever he wants a quieter corner. My Holland lop bunny loves his cage and uses all three areas. He happily hops in and out of it during the times I leave the doors open for him. He even loves to jump out of the upper loft onto his pillow lol! I keep this inside my living room. One of the wheels fell off but otherwise it is still in good condition after 5 months. The wood is of sufficient quality for its use and the rabbit has not chewed on any of it. It's easy to clean and well designed. It was not too hard to put together. This size is good cuz he can move around. I felt it was the best value per square foot of space. I would not leave this outside in the weather, though. If you do use this hutch, please give your bunny some outside time to run around. My bunny runs all over the house and jumps up on the furniture, my desk, etc. None of which he can do in this cage. They need exercise every day - jumping and running. I let him out in the morning for a few hours and again late at night. Then he happily goes back in. Came very fast. So cute and has so many access doors and sturdy. My bunnies loved it and were running and exploring. Best part is it's off the ground and the wheels I can wheel them around into the shade as the sun moves. This hutch took hours to build. Not only is the quality of the hutch not bunny proof but it’s very poorly made . It’s flimsy and i wouldnt recommend to anyone. Yes there are multiple openings and the ramp has metal up the sides . The one slide out tray came with broken parts to the slide out tray. Nothing lines up and more than a few parts came mislabeled. Not to mention it comes in like 75 or more parts . I’m extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. Even the hutch locks and slides are not lined up . We had to do our best to get them lined up . The inside is lined with the flimsy wood and it’s not going to last as the rabbit is already chewing through the wood of the structure. I absolutely would not recommend this for outside use due to the wood not being treated and the roof being flimsy. For the value of money you can by much nicer . It may look easy to clean but when you pull the sides out stuff goes everywhere cause the slide isn’t designed deep . ... show more

We put the cage together ourselves. It took a little under two hours to do. The instructions were pretty good, you just have to pay really close attention to the images to make sure you're drilling things in the right way. The wheels are a great plus and really sturdy(we can push it outside without any problems and the locks stay in place). Our bunny did not want to leave his new penthouse! At first we thought he wouldn't be able to get up the ramp ( it's a bit elevated from the bottom of the cage) but he scaled it with ease! The trays are easy to slide out as well for cleaning. Product came in one piece and was very quick to put together myself. Took maybe an hour. The only thing that I would say is a con was how strongly it smelled of chemicals from paint and or glue. After I put it together I left it air out for 48 hr as well as wiped with vinegar and water to help with the odor before putting our bunny into it. It still had a smell, but wasn't nearly as strong. ... show more

I love this cage! It wasn’t the easiest to set up, but once it was together, it was completely worth it. It is very sturdy and strong, which is perfect because my boy and girl rabbits are quite big. It holds them perfectly. Great quality!

This is a beautiful hutch. It was not difficult to put together. It's very easy to clean, all that good stuff. HOWEVER...maybe it's just my boys ...I am using it for my 2 guinea pigs and you know what this beautiful hutch is made of? Mostly wood....and my boys....are literally chewing down the house. The ramp....has wooden 'steps' which I suppose is a good concept except my boys chewed those steps and now they had screws sticking out of the ramp that I needed to pull. They are slowly chewing the sides and on the upper level, the wood on the bottom of the door. I have owned this hutch for almost 2 weeks and I'm looking for what I'm going to replace it with because it won't be much longer until there's holes everywhere that weren't in the plans. ... show more
