The media could not be loaded. We put the cage together ourselves. It took a little under two hours to do. The instructions were pretty good, you just have to pay really close attention to the images to make sure you're drilling things in the right way. The wheels are a great plus and really sturdy(we can push it outside without any problems and the locks stay in place). Our bunny did not want to leave his new penthouse! At first we thought he wouldn't be able to get up the ramp ( it's a bit elevated from the bottom of the cage) but he scaled it with ease! The trays are easy to slide out as well for cleaning. I would give this 5 stars, but for the misleading dimension listing. The dimensions listed describe the roofline. Actual living quarters is quite a bit smaller, particularly the depth. I originally had a larger litter box that I was going to put in her, but it won't fit the actual depth. That being said, the packaging was fantastic. Hutch parts arrived in perfect condition and assembly was a breeze. I have a Holland lop and he seems quite content in here - more relaxed than in his previous cage. I would not recommend this for medium to large breeds, but for smaller breed this is fine when combined with adequate free time. ... show more

Item shipped very fast, and packaged very well! Wood was soft enough, with pre drilled holes, that a regular screwdriver worked well so I didn't need the cordless drill. Wood was not numbered, but easy to tell which part went where. By mistake I put one side on backwards, haha, but it's ok. Didn't realize how big our bunny is, so will need to get some kind of extension to add more room for her. But all in all was easy to assemble, and no missing parts. ... show more

    • Don’t Waste Your Money
The instructions aren’t very easy to follow. It arrived with the glass broken and cracked wood. The ramp that goes to the top is ridiculously steep and without steps. I have no idea how a bunny is suppose to make that climb. I’m not even sure a chicken could. A lot of pieces don’t have the pre-drilled holes for them so you’re just kind of winging it and hoping that it works. Just save up your money for a quality product. ... show more

I did not like the smell! It was very strong. Unboxed it and left it outside on a covered porch to air out before using it for my indoor bunnies. Another important point to note was there were no pre drilled holes. This would make it difficult for those without a drill. Luckily i hve a drill and the appropriate bit to pre drill my own holes. Otherwise construction was simple to understand. Had there been predrilled holes, i could hve even put this together on my own. I hve an x-pen i use for my bunnies but grew tired of cardboard boxes so i purchased this. Even with measurements on the item listing, i still underestimated the size. It will work for my purpose but This is in NO WAY large enough to house bunnies without additional daily cage-free time. It also isnt large enough for larger breeds of bunnies to use probably at all. ... show more

We bought this, so my daughters Rabbit could be inside more and possibly for good. It was pretty easy to put together and is very sturdy. Super cute as well. The roof did have a strong tar smell at first but it got better. Good purchase!

The only thing I would change is the directions just a bit. Other than that the cage is great.
