The media could not be loaded. Easy to install. If home doesnt have ceiling fans bracket installed, you will need to purchase them to prevent ceiling fan from falling. Instructions were very clear. Just don't forget to connect the lights (insert them into sockets as shown in pic or fan will work without lights.) Fan in super silent and keeps room cool. The night light options is a bonus plus the light temperature and brightness is good. It comes with a remote to help with functionality. It has some weight so make sure you connect safety chain onto black hook of ceiling bracket. I used the two bolts from ceiling fan box kit purchased from Lowe's to install bracket instead of the 4 that came with it. We'll see how long it last. ... show more

This fan is super quiet and has made a huge difference in the temperature in our open concept living room/dining room/kitchen space. The light feature doesn't have to be used in color mode and in all honesty, we didn't even need the light feature as we have LED downlights in our ceiling but we did need a ceiling fan to circulate the air and reduce strain on our a/c in the afternoons as the main force of the sun hits the back and side of our house all afternoon. Installation was simple and quick. Connectivity to the app was quick and the remote control works great. Why did you pick this product vs others?: While I originally loved this fan for about 2 weeks, it started just having a mind of its own. The light turns on by itself and the fan will randomly turn off. You can't have the fan and the light at the same time due to it looking like you have a strobe light going. ... show more

We had those same old ceiling fans that are in every old house in the western hemisphere, and they were lame. We ordered these, and they're not. These are quiet, powerful fans with really cool led lighting. If you are comfortable with installing fixtures, this is as easy as any other. Some parts of our house have antique wiring, and in those rooms, it was necessary to modify the mounting plates a bit to get the old style romex through. The thing I liked most about this fan was how simple it was to put together as well as install. The noise level is on the quieter side and it has a really good air flow. I like that the blades are reversible should you choose to go with white or the wood finish according to your own look preference. It comes with a remote controller for the fan and it has 6 different speeds, 3 different hues for the bright light and I could get the RGB light to work for myself but it has that as well.
