This ceiling fan has been excellent so far, and I really don't have any complaints. **Installation:** We have an old house, so I was worried some of the wiring wouldn't work, but I didn't have any issues at all. The total installation took about 60 minutes, mostly because we have very tall ceilings and I hadn't installed a fan before so I was taking my time. The instructions were very clear and straightforward. I always knew what my next step was and whether I was doing something incorrectly. **Build:** The build quality seems strong. There is no extra movement or sway in the fan; it sits tightly in place. The blades are light but sturdy, so I don't think there will be any bending. **Looks:** I was worried about how the fan would look in our old house, but it is sleek and less noticeable than most. **Light:** My only minor complaint is about the light. It's bright enough, but I would prefer something even brighter. The cloudy light cover seems to diffuse the light, so it would be nice to have other options. We typically use really bright white bulbs, so if you're used to standard lights, you won't notice. Also, the rest of the smart bulbs in my house are color-changing, but this isn't really an issue. **Fan:** It has a wonderful range from 0 to 100. I usually keep it on five at night, as it moves air nicely. There are several other modes where it starts and stops for a "breeze" effect, but I prefer the on/off nature of it. **Sound:** I sometimes forget it's on, it's so quiet. Even at 100% spin, there's no rattling or clicking. It's amazing. **Google Integration:** It uses Tuya for smart integration, which makes things really easy. The best part is that it separates the light and the fan in terms of commands. If I say "turn on the fan," it only turns the fan on without the light. I absolutely prefer this so that when I do it at night, I'm not blinded. **Remote Control:** The remote is easy to use and easy to install. I don't use it much, but it's nice to have. **Bottom Line:** I would buy this fan again and likely will buy it for other rooms. If you know what you're doing, this fan is great. I bought two of these fans to install in a newly purchased home, it had older ceiling fans that didn't have lights or remotes and were caked in dust and grime. The install wasn't the easiest, as the existing junction boxes had screw spacing that was about 2.75" and the new brackets seem to need about 3.5" (the old fan brackets fit fine, so maybe code changed). Luckily in these two rooms, the boxes were attached directly to a ceiling joist with the screw mounts being perpendicular. I was able to get two 2.5" coarse thread screws into the joist, and a machine screw on the opposite side of the bracket into the hole of the junction box farthest from the joist. Jamming the remote/control box into the canopy and getting it wired is a bit of pain too. I have not used any of the smart features yet, but the remote is straightforward and easy to use. With 6 fan speeds, I wish setting 1 were a little slower. I did have to balance one of the units after install, I just used painters tape to adhere the included weight onto the blade I found to be the culprit. The fans look great installed, nice attention to detail, like a magnetic cap to cover the screws that secure the canopy. I had ordered a different brand fan before this one, but it had a regular AC motor which made an annoying hum. I did some research and found DC motors are the new way to go with ceiling fans, since they run silent, can confirm, the only thing you will hear is the air moving. One very minor annoyance, in a pitch black room, if you turn the light off from the remote, you can still see that the LED panel is getting power. Doubtful anyone would ever notice this (certainly not during the day), imagine dimming a light to < .5% and that's what it's like. Another gripe I have with a lot of these LED fans, is they use proprietary light panels, if you plan to have the fan for a decade and the panel dies, getting a replacement might not be quite as easy as grabbing a new bulb was in the past. I get that the panel is slimmer and the color temperature is selectable, but I'd almost rather have sockets and deal with getting my own bulbs. I decided I'd better grab a spare light panel, which is where my review of the customer service comes in. The seller was quick to reply and work with me to help me get one on order, I have no doubt if you had any issues with parts or accessories during the warranty period, they would be there to help!
