I was a little worried about installing this fan after reading the instructions because you’re supposed to install in directly through the drywall. However, installation was a breeze and I was able to install it onto the existing fan box. I was also really impressed with how easy the fan was to assemble. The instructions were fairly clear and I was able to assemble and install two of these fans on my own. I really appreciated the fact that the fans included a “safety cord” that could be attached to the bracket during installation. Usually holding the fan up and while wiring it in is absolutely impossible to do on your own. But with the inclusion of the safety cord, it was very easy to do by myself. Fan is fan tastic! Features and configurations are numerous. Multiple light intensity, multiple light colors and eight different fan speeds are today’s requirements and this fan does it all. One issue is the remote is poorly made. One drop from the chair to the ground and it broke. I jury rigged it back to work but any accidental drop risks no remote which wipes out all the beauty of the fan. ... show more
