Let me start by saying that now that it's installed and functioning, I really like the fan a lot. But be prepared for a challenging assembly and installation. I recommend following the instructions very closely (don't simply trust your intuition) and be prepared to spend at least two hours (maybe three) from start to finish. I had a few missteps where I had to undo and re-do things the right way. I also had a few frustrations, where the mount didn't screw in to my housing nearly as easily as Id expected and the wireless controller didn't seem to fit (at least not without effort) where it was supposed to. I overcame the frustrations, but the job took more time and effort than I'd planned on. I'll say this though -- now that I've done one, *if* I had more to do, they'd go more smoothly now that I have experience. The remote control is awesome, the fan is quiet and powerful, and the light is adequately bright at its highest setting. Quite nice if you're handy and willing to put up with a curveball or two.

The media could not be loaded. When you install this fan, don't be a hero and try to avoid using the instructions - things need to be done in a certain order unless you like undoing and redoing screws 1000 times (ask me how I know...) I think the install process should probably take an hour or less as long as you don't have to replace the ceiling box - the screw holes on the bracket seem to be made to accommodate a 4 inch octagon ceiling box, but you may be able to make do with a 3 inch maybe. This fan has a ton of cool features - I've never used a fan that comes with a remote before. The remote has 6 speeds for the fan, you can adjust the direction the blades spin, and you can change the lights from warm to cool. It has a timer and you can also adjust the brightness of the light. Overall really cool fan - the blades are reversible and have a dark color on the opposite side. Easy DIY project if you're handy at all.

This 52" ceiling fan is a great size and has kept us nice and cool this summer. It's pretty easy to install, although we wound up hiring someone to install because I don't trust myself when it comes to wires. It comes with easy-to-read instructions and can put installed fairly quickly. Once set up, you can control it by a remote control, which is very easy to use. This fan also has a light that can be adjusted with the brightness, and also has white, yellow, or a mixture of both. It also has reverse airflow so you can have it one way during the hot months and reverse for winter months. It's also very quiet and smooth. All in all, great product!
