This fan was very easy to install and all the hardware was included. This operates with a remote ( batteries included). The light works great as does the fan. This was installed in an upstairs bedroom at the peak of the ceiling - it fit and looks good too!

Once installed this is a good fan, the light is very bright at its highest setting but dims nicely. Similarly at full speed the fan is more than powerful for the space, I don’t think we will ever use it much above the lowest speed, which is still quite strong. We have a couple of fans with six speed settings and I am still not convinced that having that many is really necessary. The remote works well. Installation is a little tricky. I initially tried to use the terminal block on the side of the ceiling mount but found it too fiddly and restrictive so went with the tried and trusted wire nuts (which are included). I also found that the control unit prevented the cover from fitting properly flush to the ceiling leaving a gap where you can see the top edge of the controller. Thankfully they are both black so not really noticeable unless you look closely. ... show more

Moves the air very efficiently and is also very quiet. Perfect for bigger rooms. Installation was not difficult and it would help to have a second person holding the fan as you connect the electricity. Very happy with this fan.

I love it having long blades which could cover a larger area. Also, having 5 blades instead of 3 is the another reason I love it. It looks beautiful and the wood-like color is my favorite. Easy to install but I recommend someone who is strong enough to lift it over head for safety. 3 color temperatures is enough for brightness. Replaced an old ceiling fan in my sons room and this one worked out great. I love the choice of different types of lighting. The remote is super handy for the kids as well. It was easy to install. So I have mixed thoughts on this product; it works and meets my needs, it looks nice, but getting it together for install wasn't as simple as just following the instructions. With that said let's start with first impressions which were not great, the box arrived damaged and more importantly show a different product (a 3 blade fan) meaning I was instantly unsure if I even got the correct item. Opening up the box happened immediately and it was indeed the correct fan with 5 blades, I am entirely unsure why the box shows a three blade fan of a different style for this item. Attaching the blades was pretty straight forward as was switching out the down rod for the included 10 inch one which is nice to have provided. Where I started having issues with this was little things like attaching cable the light where I had to remove the LEDs to get an angle to connect the light to the rest of the fan. In that same vein of issues the plate that connects the fan to the LED also had to be attached with the LEDs removed as the place then twist on the plate holes were under the LED and wouldn't allow the plate to attach properly. While that was annoying actually connecting the wires as not an issue in the slightest using a terminal block instead of wire nuts which is a huge improvement over your standard fan wiring and speeds up the process. I do find the remote to be a little lack luster, specifically if you like the not first color temp option then you will find this fan annoying as it defaults to the same color every time your turn it off. The airflow is sufficient for my needs, I would almost never complain about more but it's adequate for the needs in the room. ... show more
