This is a beautiful 52-inch ceiling fan with lights and a remote, a 30 W 12-inch panel light, and a flush mount ceiling fan with reversible blades for the bedroom, living room, or patio. This has a quiet-running DC motor with six speeds. It’s a large 60 W DC motor that can reach more than 4000 revolutions per minute, yet it is very quiet. The blades are reversible and available in different finishes. Has five blades with different finishes on each side. One of the nicest features of this fan is its remote, which lets you adjust brightness, color temperature, and fan speed from the convenience of your easy chair. You can even set a timer for 2 to 4 hours, change direction, and dim the lights from your bed or sofa. This fan would service a room up to 225 ft.² according to the manufacturer. I personally have no hesitant to install any type of electrical products however when it comes to fans and asking people who never installed a fan before to install a fan is something I would avoid doing only because one of the characteristics of a fan is that in the summertime you’re going to have the fan set to be pulling the cold air up toward the ceiling to equalize the temperature throughout the room, your air conditioner is pumping in cold air and you can have a substantial monetary savings by bringing that cold air equally throughout the entire room and this thermostat will shut off more quickly, but it’s also the same as a plane, pulling itself forward with a propeller. A propeller pulling air can move a multi-ton plane. The fan's weight can increase significantly when you’re pulling heavy air. That’s why when it comes to installation, I recommend professional installation. You may well have a junction box in the ceiling that once serviced a light, but to try to use that junction box to connect a ceiling fan could be a mistake, particularly if it’s over a bed. I hesitate to think of what could happen if a fan spinning at 4000 revolutions per minute came flying down on someone sleeping in the bed. There are ways to prevent accidents like that. There’s a fan junction box that your electrician can install, which is literally set between two joists in the ceiling with four screws on each side, and it’s guaranteed to hold 70 pounds of weight or air pressure from the fan during the installation. You need a 16-inch cut in the ceiling, about 2 or 3 inches wide, and then you have to re-plaster, spackle, and paint to make it look correct. I don’t like doing any of those things. I do like fans; however, as I mentioned earlier, in the summertime you're pulling in cold air, and in the wintertime you're doing the opposite. And then, when you’re pushing hot down higher, it tends to be lighter. The molecules are further separated by volume. Hot air is lighter and it rises to the ceiling so you’re paying your heating bills to heat the ceiling first in the floor last sadly the floor is where the people live, and the thermostat lives in between the ceiling and the floor, so the fan is necessary to blow the hot air gathering near the ceiling down to the entire room to equalize temperature that makes the thermostat go more quickly, saving electricity in the winter saves electricity in the summer by doing the office. That’s one of the main reasons I love fans: most pay for themselves in a year or two, or less.

Over the years, I have installed quite a few ceiling fans, and this was one of the easier ones that I have installed. After removing the old ceiling fan, I started with the mounting plate, and thankfully this one had a hook on it that allowed me to hang the fan motor on while I was taking care of the wiring. The wiring was pretty straight up and simple. Due to my experience, I barely even needed to look at the directions. So after the install, I tested it out. The fan is super quiet, which is a HUGE improvement over the ceiling fan that it was replacing. With the included remote, changing the speed and even the direction of the fan was super easy. The next very impressive thing is the light kit. The light can be super bright, or you can dim it. In addition to that, you can change it from a daylight to a more warm or cool light. This is a big improvement over a lot of ceiling fans that we have owned in the past. We can change the lighting based on our need at the time without having to change any bulbs. On top of all of this, another huge benefit to this fan is that it is really low profile. The fan we replaced was also a ceiling mount fan with no drop down rod, and this one only has about half the drop down profile of the fan that it replaced. This would be exceptionally great if you had low ceilings. Our ceiling is about the standard height (8 ft), and even though we really didn't need to have a fan that is as low profile as this one, we do like how it looks compared to the old ceiling fan.

This fan looks really elegant and neat once installed and it sits close to the ceiling. The remote is easy to use and the speed changes are noticeable. It runs quietly, even on higher settings. The light is bright enough for a living room. The airflow feels steady without being too strong. I installed it in the living room and usually keep it on medium. It helps move air in the evening without turning the AC lower.

..... And that is for a few reasons. The first one being how modern and beautiful looking this fan is. It has got such a great design, and though it's a very simple design, it is very sharp and modern looking. It is just a great looking fan/light. Also the instructions are quite straightforward and are much simpler to utilize and follow than some that I have had to use in the past. The fan itself is very quiet. Which when you get it up to a high speed, and it is moving a lot of air (and I mean a lot), you don't even hear it then. In the past, with other fans, I would have heard something at such high speeds. And when I say it moves a lot of air it really does. It's so much better that way than any I've had in the past. And that is something I definitely notice and pay a lot of attention to because I run very hot and so I really rely on my fans a great deal. The remote is a fantastic detail. It's can change the lighting hue as well as the speed of the fan itself and you can do so from sitting in your chair or from across the room. This fan Is felt from far across the room, it is a good one to have in large open areas.
