I know this is weird, but we have some animal in our neighborhood that seems to have learned if they chew through a garden hose, there's water in it. I don't leave the water on, but they don't know that until they've already chewed through it. I lost three hoses this summer alone. I'm so happy that that problem is solved. Not only is it impossible to conceive of an animal being able to chew through this, but I also don’t think they even recognize it as a hose. As a bonus, this is so much easier to deal with than a rubber hose. This doesn't kink. It doesn't cut off the water supply if you set something on it. You can't wedge it under things and cut off the flow. My son even parked his car on it, and it still worked fine. (I don’t recommend repeating that test though.) I wish I had bought one of these years ago. It even came with Teflon tape for a leak-free connection.

I was really excited to get this hose, I needed a kink free one to put on my hose roller first because my hose kept kinking when I rolled it up. Unfortunately, I noticed a few flaws directly out of the box. First, the hose is marketed as a "light weight" hose, but I would consider it more of a cheap hose rather than light weight, personally. But I don't like to judge before I use, so I decided to hook it up, which is where I noticed the second problem, the inside diameter of the hose is much smaller than a normal garden hose, like half the size! If you don't know anything about plumbing then you might think this is fine, however it is not, it will greatly decrease your pressure if you hook it back up to a regular size hose, which I was planning on doing to make the hose 100' long. If you are just planning on using this hose by itself to water plants or wash a car it will work great, but if you plan on hooking it up to other hoses and need to keep a good pressure, than this probably isn't your hose. I just wish they would say in the description that the inner diameter of the hose is smaller than normal garden hoses, just be honest.

Why did I get this stainless steel hose? Because I’m tired or getting those expandable fabric-wrapped hoses and then throwing them away when they spring a leak, which they inevitably do. Vinyl hoses tend to develop kinks and fabric hoses tie themselves in knots. This steel hose maintains a clear and open route from spigot to nozzle and it doesn’t get hung up on rocks or weeds. It was easy to connect and it makes nice and tidy loops on my hose rack. I also like the rubber reinforcement sleeves at both ends. My only disappointment is I wish it was a bit longer. After I ordered this 25-foot hose, I found others selling for about the same price that were 50 feet long. Some of those also included a nozzle. With this package you get just the hose and two washers.

We’ve had more and more trouble with heat on our hoses, so we’ve begun to switch out to stainless steel. We’ve been very happy so far. But winter brings its own issues. I’m hoping this stainless steel hose it will handle the winter and freezing better than the hoses we’ve used in the past. We have to attach and remove it any time the weather shows it’s going to drop to freezing, so we handle hoses a lot over the winter. We’ve decided it’s worth it to buy better grade equipment so we are not constantly making repairs or getting caught flat-footed, or worse, having to water by hauling buckets. This hose included both rubber washers and Teflon tape. That made it easy to put together. It feels heavier and more solid than the last couple stainless hoses I’ve picked up and the hardware seems top-notch.

We’re using this to connect a hosepipe to a wall mounted hose reel, so we needed a particular length and this fit the bill perfectly. My husband is very pleased with the way it looks and especially the way it lays. We really like how indestructible it feels, and it doesn’t constrict the water flow. It’s well made, we love the nozzle and its multitude of settings, and we’d recommend this to family and friends.

As an avid gardener, I have dozens of pots and tubs with plants, located on my front and back porches. I started off by watering with a watering can, but that involves extra time and extra steps. Slowly, I've been running water to various locations around the home so that I can have water at the ready, right where I need it. Our front porch being the last location to which water has been made convenient. There's a hose bib about eight feet away and so I wanted to have a hose that could be run from the hose bib to the front porch. The idea of a stainless steel hose was great, because it coils easily, looks nice and is stain resistant. This hose has very nice brass fittings at either end, so attaching it to the hose bib and the spray nozzle was a breeze. Really nice hose for short radius situations.

This hose appears to be everything the manufacturer claims. It's sturdy, doesn't kink, has the reinforced ends, and is light weight. It worked as any hose would work...water in, water out. My only issue is the price point. Given this unit's price, one could get a 50' hose for the same amount. So, it is good but...
