These are my second set. I have two machines and wanted the larger one under my second machine. Huge suprise! I decided to use the smaller ones under my foot pedals. These worked better than any “so called”, no slip pads I’d tried before. These do not move on my tile floors. I give this product 5 stars for both machine and foot pedal stability.

I purchased a Baby Lock Jazz II sewing machine recently which is considered a long arm machine in the realm of domestic sewing machines. Finding a sewing machine mat large enough to fit the machine was a chore. So when I found this one, and received it I was thrilled. Perfect size and thickness. Muffles sound and keeps the machine from jumping when sewing at high speed. Excellent and highly recommended!

I'm using this mat under an inverter generator being run on a tile patio. It helps a lot with vibration and noise, and protects the tile. Not what most people will use this for, but highly recommended if you have a similar situation.

I got a new-to-me serger that is much more powerful than the old one I’d borrowed, and it was making my little Ott lamp, scissors and anything else that wasn’t as heavy as my sewing machine jump around on my sewing table. This mat helps a little with the vibration - nothing has vibrated off the table like before - but I think the folding table from Costco will just have to be replaced with a more solid sewing surface. This mat excels more at noise reduction and keeping the serger stationary if it wants to wander. I did notice that the roar from the serger was probably cut in half with the mat under it. I have a trim-catcher on the table (it has a thinner foam pad on the bottom) and then this mat on top of it, so the serger sits on this one. Your results might vary if you are using it directly between the table and the serger.

This mat is fantastic. I don't know why I didn't think to find one of these sooner. I've been sewing/serging as a novice for the past 20 years. While I enjoy making new things and often find myself exploring challenging sewing projects, there are two things that absolutely drive me batty. 1. My runaway serger that scoots further and further away from me on my table, and 2. My runaway foot pedal that scoots further and further away from me under my table. Well, this neat little made-in-the-U.S.A. rubber mat at least solves my #1 problem. Both my table and floor are wood and slick and allow the perfect conditions for both the machine and foot pedal to zip away. Anyone that sews knows that as you get in your groove, you pick up speed, especially on large projects, and while you are booking along sewing like a madwoman (or man), your have to interrupt your awesome groove to pull your machine back to you and it drifted an entire foot away! This product eliminates those needless interruptions. Not only do you receive this rubber mat that lives up to its name, but the seller also included a neat little cutting block! Don't drive your self batty when you floor the serger pedal- get a Stay-In-Place mat! Neither the company or seller have paid me to review their product, I just really enjoy giving honest reviews, as I myself appreciate others' reviews.

I have Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine, and I couldn't sew fast on it because it started jumping together with the table. I live in an apartment building, so it was unacceptable. When I purchased my serger, I was seriously concerned about noise, so I found these mats. I decided to buy a pack of two: for serger and sewing machine. That was the right decision! My Singer stopped jumping no matter how fast I want to go. Plus, sewing machine is no longer sliding over the table (which I didn't pay attention to, but now it's so nice that I don't need to reposition it all the time). When mats came, I realized that my serger didn't fit on the small mat with extension table (Brother ST), so I gave it the big one. Surprisingly, my sewing machine fits perfectly on the small mat. I don't know how I lived without these mats
