received 4 days, easy to assemble, clear instructions ( read carefully when putting the reflector panels together) heat reflector all ridges need to be on top...easy to do wrong, but easy to correct...no shipping damage, and the slotted holes provide added tolerance to fit, making the assembly very easy...amazing start time of 2 seconds...if you don't hear the rapid clicking of the ignition button, put in a new battery...mine was bad from manufacturer...once fired up, works super great... and the tilt shield is the "cat's meow"...don't know why this is the only one i saw with the tilt...5 star ron

This patio heater works really well, but the instructions could be clearer. It includes a set of very long nails that are supposed to “perforate the metal into the sand container,” and honestly that didn’t make sense in practice. I ended up ignoring that step and just trusting my gut. If you get this, fill the base with as much sand as you possibly can. It is difficult since the hole is in the middle but keep going even if it feels like “it’s probably enough”; it isn’t once the heater is assembled, it will need the extra weight to stay steady during stronger gusts. The long metal arm that controls the tilt angle arrived slightly bent, so I had to reshape it a little to get it working smoothly. After that, everything functioned as expected. I’m still giving it 5 stars because the heater looks great, puts out strong heat, and the adjustable heat-focusing dish is honestly fantastic. I don’t know why other brands don’t include this feature, it makes a real difference.

I made one error with the tilt assemble but I didn't need it to tilt under my gazebo, so I just left it and didn't go back to correct it. The heater is easy to light and generates a lot of heat. Very happy with my purchase

The bottom mounting tube (H) separated from its mounting flange that attaches it to its base when i attached the upper heating attachment and almost came crashing down. luckily I was able to catch it in time I was able to get the flange welded on which some thing that should have been done in the first place. Other than that everything was well made and the heater works well so I give it three stars The flange problem should be addressed as it cause a serious accident.

Since I have not used it in an environment where we could judge the amount of heat it puts out, I can't comment yet on that important aspect. The unit comes well packed, with decent instructions. All the hardware is shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard and tied by a red ribbon, so you can't miss it. You get extras of all nuts and bolts. I would call this a 3rd generation patio heater. 1st gen was heavy and solid. 2nd gen was light weight and kind of flimsy. 3rd gen is very light weight and very flimsy. I am not saying this one is flimsier than its competitors, but much of it is not made of durable metal. In its favor, when properly assembled and the bolts properly tightened, it does not feel wobbly, the way it would if the parts were loose fit. One plus is a trap door that lets you turn the gas on and off without lifting the whole cover.

Great quality for the price! Very easy to put together. I read some reviews that stated the instructions were a bit confusing in regards to aligning the top with the “regulator”. For this particular item the “regulator” is the arm that allows the top to tilt, not the temperature regulator. I was briefly perplexed by this also but I’m a 62 year old woman and I put this together myself. It puts out great heat.

bought 2 of these for my patio. we like to eat dinner outside ( everything seems to taste better outside to me ) when the base is filled and the propane tank is full, the unit is pretty stable. heat is warm and soothing and somehow relaxing( could be the orange glow ). the heat reflector is adjustable up to 15 degrees of tilt. ( not sure it does much but that is one of the reasons i bought this). works best with little to no wind( a gust will blow out the flame, and you must re light the flame). this will be true with ANY heater of this type. on a full tank on full blast , it will run about 5-6 hours before the heat noticeably tapers off . if you can keep the tank from" icing " up some how, it will probably run longer ( this also will happen to ANY heater of this type.) these heaters allow you to use your back yard as another room of your house when temps are cool or you just like to be out doors. recommended, would buy again.

SCARY !!! I purchased and assembled two of these heaters. Beautiful heaters. However, as I was rolling one of the heaters on my porch, the square/main mounting brace and metal rod that holds up the entire upper burner, broke at the brace and the whole rod & burner fell across my back! If this burner was glowing RED hot and fell across people on my porch, I am MOST confident, there would be legal issues for a faulty part! CHECK the lower rod that has the square base with 4-bolt holes, to make sure it is secure!!!
