  • It is perfect. It is what I always looking for.
I was looking for a front and rear dash cam with GPS for quick access to video clips. After a lot of research, I decided to buy a Veement Dash Cam. It is a 2.45-inch screen, GPS enabled 4k dash cam with 1080 internal rear camera, this is a great deal for you. Offers good dynamic range in all lighting conditions (day and night). Setup is very simple, just mount the camera and put in the SD card (don't forget to buy one SD card), and plug it in. You need to format the SD card, which takes a second. Not only that, but it records real-time GPS data, including speed and location. When I inserted the micro SD card into the computer, I noticed that can run a media player. So I installed it and it showed the recorded video along with my location on the map. It also shows the speed of the media player. Customer service is great. The company reached out to me about any issues they could fix to make it better. Overall, I am satisfied with the installation process, picture quality, and interface. ... show more

  • Dangerous !!!!
It totally killed the battery in my car (I mean "dead" - the key fob wouldn't even work)... I took my car for the Maryland State Yearly Inspection 2 days after I removed to camera and my car failed - It had "To Many" Codes (codes are thinks that is wrong with your car - 1 code is normal [all codes are bad] "Too many to read" is insane)... I haven't had the car checked yet - I hope it didn't kill the computer (That could be a couple thousand dollars to replace)... Let me add to this Dash Cam review... I took my cat for (Maryland) Emission test and it failed - "Too many Codes"... In other words, it screwed-up the computer... I'm hoping that driving for a few days clears the codes... The car (my wife's car) has 54,000 miles and is in excellent condition... I hope this clears itself. I can't imagine trying to "sue" a Chinese company ! And - I checked the few pictures it saved - they are all "still" pictures of the "Rear" camera - And - You have to buy an additional (program) app - if you want to "actually" see the tap... ... show more

  • Works well but hard to lock clips
This is a good dash cam, replacing an older unit with a horrible internal clock. (NOTE: I recommend you always announce the time of day when you start any dash cam. I put a sticker on the camera saying "Check the recording for correct date/time.") This camera has good video and is supposed to track your GPS coordinates as well. To see video with a map overlay, however, is a non-trivial process and uses proprietary, really crummy software. I've computer-savvy enough that I can run some tools to extract data from a video file, but most people will not want to make that effort. In fact, I don't usually want to make that effort unless I'm mapping a road rally route. My biggest complaint is that it's hard to remember the button sequence necessary for "locking" (saving) a recording. For example, you see a guy run a red light. Unless you either save it right away or download it right away, the recording will be overridden. Unfortunately, there's no obvious separate lock button. If I recall correctly, you have to tap the third button from the left twice to save a recording. It's still not clear to me if it saves the previous segment or the current three minute segment or both, so you've gotta act fast. I recommend you carry a couple of extra MicroSD cards (properly formatted) so that if you need to save something, you swap out the cards until you can download them to your computer. Lastly, this camera does not have a way to insert your license plate number in the recorded video the way my old cheapy camera did. That's not important, but it would be nice to have. Still, all in all, I'm keeping the camera and use it whenever I'm on the road. ... show more

  • Easy set up and decent quality for 2 cameras
Was looking for a dash cam for long/scenic road trips. After testing it with different lighting, it showed surprisingly high quality with vibrant colors in motion. I was skeptical about “4K” description but both the screen and video files displayed excellent resolutions. The set up was smooth. Both of the cameras are adjustable that allow me to find the best angles. 4 simple buttons for feature setting and operating. Last thing I appreciate is simply using a memory card and not having the fuss to deal with another app on my phone. (Not having to worry about paying subscription fees in the future). This is a great deal and I’m happy with the the purchase and would 100% recommend it. ... show more

  • Lasted less than 6 months
I bought three of these. One for each car. Using for less than 6 months and one has already quit working. Also we had an issue where a truck was driving erratically and ran us out of the road. I called to report it and they wanted to see the video. I put the memory card in my computer and could not view the video. I had to download a program to be able to view it. The picture quality was really good, but the video I needed to see had already been recorded over. It loops so that it never runs out of storage, but I would expect to be able to complete a drive before it loops. It was useless the one time that I needed it, and now it doesn't work at all. I can plug the camera into one of the cords in a different car and it works, so the camera is fine, but the cord is dead. ... show more
