  • Sturdy, durable, long lasting, easy set up
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 9.8’L x 19.7’W x 6.4’H
We got this chicken coop extension to add on to our original coop. We had 12 chickens and had the correct amount of space per chicken that was recommended, but it still didn't seem like enough space. We can't free range due to many predators in our woods, so we got this run and it has been awesome! It added so much more space to their home and they can run around as much as they please! It was easy to set up, but was very tedious doing all the zip ties. We ended up buying more zip ties just to make sure everything was secure. We've had it for a year or so now and it still stands strong and the chickens are in the extension every day! There is a door at the far end which is nice. We have high winds sometimes and it doesn't budge. Definitely worth it to buy and make your back yard flock very happy! ... show more

  • Good product for the price point
Pattern Name: Dome Roof Size: 231.6"L x 114.0"W x 76.0"H
Other than using a lot of zip ties, this was easy to put up and so far is holding strong.

  • Good chicken run. If you get snow where you live add supports.
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 9.8’L x 13.1’W x 6.4’H
Easy to set up. Attaching the fence is time consuming but easy to do. If you get snow you will want to put supports along the ridgeline. Mine collapsed under the weight of the snow. Preventable, if I would have placed and support prior to snow fall. This is a good space and the chickens plenty of room to run around and do chicken things. ... show more

  • Almost perfect chicken run
Pattern Name: Dome Roof Size: 231.6"L x 114.0"W x 76.0"H
I love the size and height so I don't have to hunch over at the edges of the structure. I did choose to use hardware cloth on the sides for predator proofing the structure. I did get a pole that was made wrong. There was no way to use it. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one immediately. My last one from a different vender (not rounded rooftop) collapsed with heavy snow in Wisconsin. I will make sure to keep the snow brushed off. I am also using 2x4s for structure support inside. Roosts are made from the supporting 2x4s for my chickens. It's otherwise perfect for my chickens. ... show more

  • Disappointed
Pattern Name: Dome Roof Size: 231.6"L x 114.0"W x 76.0"H
I was really excited about this run. It went together easily enough, even though some of the holes did not lined up like other customers mentioned, I just drilled new holes so it was secure. But a few months after having it, it collapsed killing two of my chickens. Contacting the seller was disappointing as they did not listen to me about not being able to refund as I no longer used the same bank. After mentioning it at least three times. They pretty much said too bad and sent it to the CLOSED account. Amazon can’t do anything because the seller marked it as refunded. So I’m out $230, two chickens and a chicken run. If anything, the seller made this situation more stressful than it already was. ... show more

  • ok...but tarp doesn't last
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 9.8’Lx13.1’Wx6.4’H
DESIGN: 5 stars FUNCTION: 5 stars COST: 3 stars QUALITY for COST: 3 stars LABELING AND DIAGRAM: 3 stars UPDATE: It's been exactly 1 year since we have been using this coop. The "UV resistant" tarp has NOT weathered the sun (literally). The side of the tarp that gets the most sun has disintegrated. It's in pieces...falling apart not because of tears, but because of the sun. So, keep this in mind. You'll be needing another tarp after one year. We bought this to protect our chickens from hawks during the day. We have a smaller coop that sits in the inside for them to go into at night. So far it's been exactly what we were hoping for. Assembling is a great Saturday morning family project. You can talk to your kids about basic math-concepts, trouble shooting, patience, teamwork, and cooperation. We approached it like a puzzle. It came in 2 boxes...and I recommend laying all the parts out. Some parts are labeled with letters and some with numbers which gets a bit mind boggling. HEADS UP pertaining to my "trouble-shooting" comment above: If you follow the diagram, your 3's (first vertical poles) are not going to mesh up with the D's and H's holes (corners that bend for the coop's top pieces). Move your E1 and E2 corners to the opposite corners shown. That will fix it. My overall thought on the labeling of parts and the diagrams are that they are simple but also somewhat confusing. You have everything you need though...for a pretty good price and very reasonable quality. You can't rush thru assembling. Also, the chicken wire process is not explained. You can clip the pieces of the green wire (labeled "O") or put the coop on cinder blocks, twist-tie at the ends and middle of the bottom pole, and then feed the wire (like stitching) around the bottom horizontal pole and thru the chicken wire. It's quicker...but again, if you are trying to remain calm, give yourself plenty of time and a few extra hands. The product itself is good...but it all could have been written better. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • One person can assemble and is a great product for starting a decent size flock
Pattern Name: Dome Roof Size: 231.6"L x 114.0"W x 76.0"H
Easily adjusted to connect to a smaller version to make more room. This is a great size. We have two turkeys, 6 ducks, 7 chickens. The babies quickly outgrew the first enclosure similar to this one so we just connected the two now we use the smaller one for the nesting boxes and they are loving the bigger space. One person can do the set up. For the wire, we did a two person team. One to hold, one to fasten but can be done by one person. I think at a later time we will replace the wire with sturdier chicken wire or the sides in rabbit wire but it works as is. We have a lot of wind, so may also replace the top tarp with garden sheeting for better shade, but if you don't have heavy wind, this is fine as is. ... show more

  • Would buy again!
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 9.8’L x 6.6’W x 6.4’H
I got this to house 3 buff geese in during the day. The frame is extremely sturdy, with plenty of room for my geese. It looks very well made, but the wire mesh could be a little more sturdy. The latch is kinda iffy, but overall it’s a good buy with great functionality.
