I’m terrified to get another one… the part that caught fire came fully assembled. Very concerning. Amazon did provide a refund in addition to a credit to purchase a new fire extinguisher. I’m glad we didn’t leave it unattended. Luckily, there was no damage. But the experience was very nerve wracking. Was excited to get this heater but ultimately disappointed when I went to put it together. First, the washers were too small and did not allow the bolts to pass through them. Second, the unit is shipped with screws inserted in the head unit, which is unfortunate because those screws can get pushed and stuck, which happened with mine. Without being able to unscrew them, cannot mount the heating/head unit on top of the pole, so it was all essentially useless. Returned for a refund and bought a more reputable brand elsewhere.

This is the worst heater I have ever bought. It caught on fire the first time we used it. Luckily, we had a fire extinguisher not far from us so we were able to put it out quickly. The hose between the propane tank and the unit melted as did all of the dials on the top portion. Then when I texted with amazon about the issue, they wanted me to box it back up. fire extinguisher powder and all!!! I'M SORRY, BUT NO!!! Just mystified about this whole patio heater process. We really wanted one that worked independent of an electrical outlet.

This product works ok. At least it fired up after completing the build. Assembly was easy enough with standard household tools. There were several cap nuts missing. The component quality overall is poor. Parts fit together ok, not great. The reflector in particular looks pretty Frankenstein. It consists of thin gauge aluminum in 4 parts that get bolted together. They fit together ok, but the thin gauge of the aluminum means that it's not straight. Looks like the patio heater equivalent of a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Guess you get what you pay for. I ordered two. Trying to decide if I should send the second one back.

IT HAS BEEN RETURNED. The instructions were so vague on this product, it came with an instruction manual with 3 pictures in it It . There were 2 bags of nuts & bolts, screws, washers with no pictures of them to identify what goes where. It didn't show what pieces go where, I guess i could have figured it out but not where all the hardware goes. There was no website and youtube didn't show anything on this particular product. Overall a nightmare, I dont know how it functioned because I couldn't put it together.

Warm (hot if you are too close). Heats up an area very quickly. Spans a wide area (and that's good because you will want to back away some). Fast and Easy to turn it on. Was simple to put together.
