It would fit in our room perfect the install was pretty easy However, not even a month in it started making this awful noise and barely spins. Obviously, it was past the amazon return deadline 😑 Fortunately Amazon did work with me and help me through out. Once I started scrolling, I did see another person had the same situation. Easy to put together and good lighting and fan. Remote included. We use them for our deck and gives good air flow. Has speed up to 6 which is not to fast but good flow. Ligh color changing to white and warm and blueish very good addition too. Overall we are happy w/ it. We had very hard time finding outdoor light and fan. This was the beat price and availability. While I think this is a very nice looking fan, there are several issues with it. First, the instructions that they give you are complete garbage. Very poorly written and full of typos. Some decent diagrams and better instructions would be a great idea. Second, the wiring harness for connecting the light had the wires reversed. Thankfully I saw this and ended up cutting the harness off and splicing the correct wires together. Disaster averted on that one. If you click the harnesses together and the wires do not match the same order, just remember I told you so. Lastly if I had to buy this fan again, I probably wouldn't. The media could not be loaded. In the end, this fan/chandelier combo looks great and functions mostly as expected. Most of the install was smooth, but the light fixture was pretty ornery. You'll need kid-sized hands to get the bulbs in. Be very careful with the plugs for the light fixture connecting wires. The connectors can pop off easily and there is not much space for fingers in-between the fan and the light when attaching. It runs quietly and looks prestigious to a dirtbag gutter-punk like me. I've installed dozens of fans and this one is the first where the base will rotate clockwise when turning on and counter when turning off(see video). I don't think it's supposed to do that, but I know I didn't do anything wrong with the install. It also seems like I have to power the fan off and then to the desired speed to get it where I want. I can't have it on 5 and then just hit 1 to lower it, it has to be 5-off-1. It sounds like a lot, but all-in-all, I am pleased with this purchase. ... show more

Great product at a low cost. One subtle issue some might have is the dimmer only works in stages on the remote, or is very slow and I have not noticed yet (at the time of writing this review); a staged dimmer doesn't fade to its darkest without using the smartphone app, to use a gradient slider to set the dim, which allows more dimly lit. Suggestion to Consumers: Watch the installation demonstration video. I have always been hands on learning how to build things from manuals, and for this project everything is very straightforward IF you read the manual AND watch the video. They both explain more in seperate subjects regarding installation. Note to DIY'ers regarding installation: The product I received has a linear "butt-connector," (to join separate wires by crimping) that should have matching wires joined, like jumping a car. To do this, unscrew the interior screw (inside the white plastic that looks kindof like a power supply cable ending from in your desktop PC(for PC users) enough to fit the wire deep enough to where it will be pinched after retightening the screw. Crimp the fixture wires into the connector, in the hanging bracket, lined up as suggested for safety (positive and negative separated by grounding) one side at a time. And it doesn't hurt to turn off the power to the room at the breaker. TLDR: I installed mine myself and am happy with the results. Download the app to get full functionality from the dimmer. Update: The remote avoids the slow dimmer with a quick dim, "night mode," button. ... show more
