    • WRONG cord length! It’s 9’8” NOT 16’4” Huge difference!

This review of one star is only addressing the WRONG information provided in the description of the cord length. It indicates a 16’4” cord which is the reason I chose this fan. After it was assembled and hung, the actual cord length is 9’8”. So now I have to purchase an extension cord and figure out how to hide the coupling. I NEVER would have purchased this. I despise visible cords and had it been the correct length I would have been able to hide it. Certainly can’t do that with a huge connection between the two 3 prong plugs. To unassemble, rebox, and return is no easy task. Extremely disappointed with this product for that reason. Can’t comment on anything else about the fan since I have to wait for the outdoor extension cord to arrive. Highly dissatisfied. ... show more

Be sure you understand that this fan is to be installed somewhere there is no power box. We had an electrician to install this and they saw this could not work in our screened in porch area as we already had an existing light there.
