This was the perfect fit for one bunny to keep in my daughter's room. It took a while to build but the directions were easy to follow. It did come with a very strong chemical smell so after we built it we put it in an extra room to air out for about a week. There is no longer a smell 4 months later but definitely plan to air it out. The wood is sturdy and the doors are great to have for easy access to the bunny. Looks exactly like the picture and bunny loves it although he does chew on the wood. I paid $40 for shipping, and there were several items broken. But the thing I hate the most about this is that it has NO FLOOR. We needed a rabbit hutch where our little bunny wouldn't have to walk around in his waste, so we bought this thinking it would have a wire floor where droppings would pass through into the drawers below. It has drawers, just no floor, so animals still have to walk around in it. It makes no sense to have drawers that pull out but no floor. The other thing was that after paying $40 shipping, there were several pieces that were either flat out broken or damaged. The lid to the open area was warped and VERY THIN - will easily break. The frame around it was broken, as well - warped and broken. This piece fell off after we assembled it. Also, the hinge piece that attaches the ramp to the upper level was broken off. We couldn't attach it. This renders this product fairly useless. DO NOT BUY THIS. ... show more

I love this hutch, no issues with assembly. However, are there things to be considered? Yes. My bunny decided the top story was the bathroom, okay... but there's an inch+ wood lip/edge that she therefore was peeing down, leaking onto the floor. I had to rig a plastic siding to keep her from backing up so far to the edge. Also, chewing... a concern from the start. There are some pretty obvious areas where flashing should be that it's not. Is it a deal breaker? No, but we'll need so more modifications to deal with the now largely chewed areas after only a month. For the $, I need this hutch to last at least year... ... show more

It’s a nice hutch, but much smaller than expected. It is much too small for my two guinea pigs. The wood is not water sealed at all, so the urine soaks right into the wood. I’ve only had my piggies in there for three days, and there is already grime staining. That’s with the bottom lines with pee pads. Also, the plastic trays are not removable from the wooden bottom. To spray out the tray, you have to also spray the wood, which is leading to wet, stained wood that I’m afraid is going to rot soon bc it’s very soft. Soft enough for these piggies to be already chewing the hutch. Don’t buy for GP’s. There’s no way to take this thing apart and get it back into the box so I’m afraid I just wasted my money. ... show more
