These chargers are very inexpensive and they have built in desulfators. Bought 4 a year ago and just bought 4 more. I put a desulfating trickle charger (not this brand) on my 2007 Sonata when it was new and I still have the original battery in the car after 18 years. Longest I have ever gone on an original battery in any new car and I credit the desulfator.

I have used 3 of these chargers to keep car batteries charged over long periods. These trickle chargers seem to work but don’t appear to be highest quality but the price was low. So far so good

This charger/maintainer is simple to use. You just plug it in, hook it up to your battery and you're all set. You do need to let it know what type of battery you have and what voltage. It has lights that light up as it goes through the various stages of charging from 0 to 50%, then 50 to 100%, then to maintain. It does all of this automatically. As I said earlier, plug it in and forget. I'd easily buy this again.

These are definitely the best value and battery tenders. My only concern is that some tenders will tend to cause a fire. I have no reason to believe that’s the case with these I’ve had them in use for about three months nonstop all day all night on five batteries will see how they hold up what time but so far they’ve worked perfectly.
