If I could give this a million stars, I would. I suffer from insomnia and I have not slept more than 3 hours straight in a night, in the past 5 months. After debating whether or not to try one of these, my sister finally convinced me. I will say I always felt like they were a bit of a gimmick. Well, I was SO wrong. For the first time since I can remember, I slept a full 7 hours. I don’t know how or why but I am absolutely shocked that a blanket could do so much. I’m hoping this wasn’t a coincidence but only time will tell. I did a ton of research before settling on this one and I’m so happy I did! It is so affordable compared to other options, and the minky dot cover and pillowcases that came with it are so freaking soft, I never want to leave my bed. I could cry right now, I’m so pleased. *Update* I have not returned to a regular blanket and it has still held up beautifully after tens of washes. I will never go without one of these again.

I am not a good sleeper. I sleep about 2-3 hours and then wake up and can't get back to sleep. The first night I used the blanket, I slept almost 7 hours. I haven't done that in years. I got a 15-pound blanket. It isn't too hot and you don't feel cold. It is soft, and the blue is a pretty blue. I had my son sleep with it one night and he wants to get one as well. Last night I slept for about 6 hours. I will take that as a win. There is something about the weight that helps you sleep, I can't tell you what it is, but it works as advertised. Good price, too. My only problem is that I travel for work and I can't take it with me. I will sure look forward to getting home, climbing in my own bed, and crawling under my blanket.

This is my first weighted blanket, and it works like a drug! I absolutely love the color and the softness of the blanket. Matter of fact, it is so nice my husband keeps stealing it away from me! This blanket is supposed to be 15lbs but the blanket I already have is 12lbs and heavier. Not enough Ties to keep it in place. Otherwise it was soft. Sent it back.
