Overall, this boom sprayer works and helps tremendously with spraying large areas. My husband did have to retrofit it with a different sized connection to make it work on our John Deere tractor but once installed, it worked perfectly. He also attached it to our CanAm Defender and we were able to have both the tractor and the CanAm spraying at once, for the annual spraying of the Huisache weeds & bushes in our pasture. That definitely saved us time! I was also able to use it as a hand water sprayer for our long flower bed, so I feel like it definitely has good purpose & function. I really like how customizable in length and nozzle type it is. It does feel a bit flimsy right out of the box. I wasn't sure that it wouldn’t leak or hold up too well. Most of the parts are plastic and feel thin and light. But so far, it has worked well the few times that we’ve used it. I do recommend rinsing all the parts off well, inside and outside, after use, especially if you use it to spray any chemical type products. I just hooked it up to the water hose and let it run to rinse out the inside of the sprayer. We use Malathon & diesel to kill the Huisache weeds and bushes, so I’m not sure how well it will stand up to those types of products over time and repeated usage. But either way, the price is very affordable and if it lasts for a few seasons, I would say it is worth it. It would make a good back up or additional boom if you have several project to tackle at once. ... show more

This sprayer boom is as advertised. It would be better if it had mounting hardware (zip ties reqd.) It would also benefit if it was hinged (it has to be removed in tight spaces).

This is a great spray boom for use around my ranch. The fit perfectly on my tank sprayer and allow me to cover very large areas quickly and easily. They are a great value for the money and are very easy to install. I highly recommend it.

I got this as a spare for my current sprayer boom, as they can sometimes take some damage during use and having a replacement on hand is a time saver. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of this one is probably even better than the one I currently have installed. This boom is very well-made. The fit and finish is nice, and it appears extremely durable. It’s also very easy and intuitive to put together. The design is great; it's very adjustable for multiple lengths to suit your needs and comes with two choices for the end spray nozzles. For the quality you get, this is also a great price. This Extension wand is a great attachment. It can extend the use of your sprayer and it narrows quite well to add pressure to the flow. It does add some length but does not feel premium. I would encourage being careful while in use. The wander itself is plastic and use as brass fittings for seal. Brass is a very soft metal but commonly use in these settings but you definitely need to be careful with the plastic. Be mindful and watchful so you don't be able to break it. ... show more

Right off the bat it is a 1/4” brass fitting(not 3/8”) not a big deal (but thats why i reduced the rating), its threaded in the T with a brass insert and easily changed. The plastic parts feel like a decent quality, however I would not leave them out in the sun (not that good of quality) the rigid sections are fiberglass rods. They are easily cut with a hacksaw to make for custom lengths.( I needed it to be exactly 36”) All the connections are compression style with a o-ring gasket. I tightened them very well nothing cracked. Used to spray 20 gals: small leak at brass fitting, but a couple wraps of teflon tape fixed that. It works as expected. Used with 25 gal Fimco pro sprayer, running 2.2 GPM 100 psi pump. Held up well. 2 small nozzles inside with the large ones outside it pumps 20 gals in 16 mins, so it puts out .8 gals per min. With all 4 small nozzles its puts out .6 GPM. ... show more

Must have for our large property. We spray about 3 acres of lawn a few times a year. I was spraying by hand until I got this sprayer. Instructions were not included so had to look back at manufacturers pictures. It was easy to put together. I would advise not over tightening due to possible damage to the connectors themselves. Definitely worth the money. Especially for the simplicity of it. ... show more
