This water cooler is very quiet thankfully! It provides nice cold and hot water every time it has dispensed so far and only took about 5 min to get the water hot or cold. It does also have a room temperature button as well for those that do not want really cold water. It is easy to set up using a long wand and tubing that goes directly into the water bottle that reaches the bottom of the bottle. It also has a light on the front to let you know when the water needs to be changed. I'm ok with the safety feature of the hot water button. If you have little ones, they will not get burnt when they touch that button. It takes a little more skills to move the red slider and press the hot water button at the same time. But it is very easy for adults to do. I really like the bottom load of the water bottle. It really saves on the back and shoulders. Having this here really does help me to drink more water and the bottled water tastes great. It doesn't take up too much space. I think it is a very good value for the money. We haven't had the experience with the self-cleaning part yet. But if I see anything weird about that, then I will come back and give an update.

Read the instructions. Make sure to let it sit upright and leave it as recommended. Remove the water bottle cap completely before inserting the nozzle. Put the bottle inside and close the door. Let it sit and wait for the water to fill inside. It will take a bit to get hot and cold water but not too long. Knowing the water is cleaned, I enjoy drinking it more. Very quiet. This was one of the most reasonably priced self cleaning model out there.

I've been using this Gleedelish bottom-loading water dispenser for a while now, and it's been a great addition to my home. The bottom-loading design makes changing 3- or 5-gallon bottles much easier, and I love having the option of hot, cold, or room-temperature water at the touch of a button. The child safety lock on the hot water dispenser adds peace of mind, and the self-cleaning feature helps keep maintenance simple. Overall, it's a convenient, user-friendly water cooler that's perfect for a busy household or office.

After three days of receiving text messages from Fedex that they had been unable to deliver this water cooler to a business which, apparently was always closed, and Fedex would not tell me where this business was, I finally received the water cooler on February 23, 2026, remarkably the day they promised delivery. I can only assume Gleedelish contacted Fedex to correct the delivery problem. I must say that the manufacturer in China did a terrific job in packaging and protecting the cooler. I was worried because the box had several tears and indentations probably from Fedex handling for over three days before delivery, but the cooler was in perfect shape. After unpacking, I then followed the instructions to let the cooler sit in place for 24 hrs to let the compressor coolant stabilize and the unit warm up to room temperature since it was very cold when delivered. The following day I followed the instructions to run a cleaning cycle thru the internal parts to avoid any chemical taste from the factory cleaning process. I placed a 5 gallon water bottle in the cooler and waited about an hour to have the water heat up and cooled. The first thing I noticed is that this unit is extremely quiet when water is being heated, cooled and drawn from the bottle. I was surprised to see the add water light come on, which on other machines, only comes on and stays on, when the bottle is empty, but on this machine it not only does that, but comes on when its pulling water from the bottle and turns off when the upper holding tank is full. Since the water pump is soo quiet, this I found to be a good indicator when the pump was running. The hot water is hot and the cold water is cold, the room temperature water was cooler than expected, but not a problem. Overall, I find this cooler to be an excellent machine and the self cleaning UV light is a real bonus for sanitation purposes. I only gave it 4 stars because of the delivery screw-ups but the machine itself is a 5 star performer so far. I recommend it.

My wife and I were searching for a bottled water cooler/dispenser for our kitchen because the tap water in our new house doesn't taste very good. When we started looking to decided that we were going to go with a water cooler type unit. That's when we came across the Gleedelish 4-in-1 Bottom-Load Water Dispenser with Ice Maker and it dawned on us that any ice made by the refrigerator will have the same bad taste as the tap water. We really liked this model for 2 big reasons. First because it can use 3 gallon and 5 gallon water bottles and they're stored in the bottom of the unit rather than on top, upside down. Second is the ice maker, so we can have ice that doesn't have a bad taste. This water cooler does more than just dispense water and ice, it also dispenses hot water and room temperature water. Operating the unit is simple, just place the water bottle (3 or 5 Gallon) in the cabinet in the bottom of the unit and attach the water hose. Next just plug it in and it'll power up. Select your settings on the front panel to turn on features by pushing the buttons for hot water, cold water and ice making. The lights Next to each button will light up while the feature is in progress. That means while hot water or cold water or ice are being made, the light will be on. Once it's ready the light will turn off. Once they're ready, just push the button in top for cold water and hold it while it's dispensing and release it to stop. Same thing goes for hot water. The ice is made and stored in a tray inside the top of the unit with a clear, lift up, cover over it. You need to manually remove it with the included scooper or by hand. This ice feature is great because it makes decent sized bullet shaped cubes in 7 minutes. It can make 33 lbs daily and it stores 1.3 lbs at a time in the basket. The last feature doesn't really apply to me as my children are grown but there's a built-in child lock on the hot water to prevent accidental burns from a child playing with the unit. We've already gone through 20 gallon of bottled water in 4 weeks, that's how much we've used it daily and how much we like it. The compressor runs really quiet and so far the impact of it's operation on our electric bill is negligible and not even noticeable. If you're a bottled water drinker then this unit is perfect for you. It absolutely is for us.
