We have these up over 4 sets of lines for the Mr Cool DIY units. Husband said they were average difficulty expected to install. They seem to be holding up, except for the screws for the joining pieces. They are rusted and nasty looking after only 9 weeks. He will be taking them all out and replacing with stainless steel screws and suggests that those who purchase do this the first time and throw their screws in the trash. For the few cents it would have cost to put better screws in, they need to rethink this strategy. ... show more

I'm no AC installer, so this may be of no surprise. I was covering a run of AC hoses that the original installer left uncovered under a deck. It was difficult to keep everything together while closing these hides. The screw heads also went right through the plastic when I carelessly tightened too much. Finally, the zip ties are too delicate: a wider style would be more appropriate. ... show more
