I have used this product for quite a bit of time now. I did not realize it was a hair gel, but I still fell in love with it. The smell isnt too overpowering, which I appreciate a lot. I have very curly hair.I used them all.This is the first one for me that does what it says define curl, it's soft, you would never think it was a gel. It smells great and the use of rice in Camille rose really makes me grateful that I found them. I love it.

This product USED to be good. I have been using it for years, so I know what I'm talking about as I have given them my money for a long time. However, I am certain they changed the product because now it leaves my hair dry which is creating tangles, and I have experienced some hair loss. I'm pretty sure it's this product because I've switched to Innersense (conditioner and gel), and it's not doing that to me. So as I can't return this, I'm just using it for date nights once a week, and that's it. I'm now using another gel that costs more, but it doesn't contribute to hair loss. And when I do use it, I use less of it. I won't be buying this again unfortunately. It still works when I put it on and makes my hair look good, but on day 2 and 3 I experience dryness of my hair and flakiness and tangles and then hair loss. I normally don't give negative reviews, but as I paid 20 bucks for this, I felt it was fair for me to say something. Innersense costs more, but it's not creating hair loss for me. It sucks to see so many brands that used to be good no longer be good. It's not right to change the product's formulation or not use the same quality ingredients that they used to use. I'm not the only one who feels this way. On Reddit, a lot of people are noticing some things have changed here. I think it's because they have shareholders or something where the customer is not being prioritized. I just really think the quality is not the same. I can't prove it, but my hair can. I'm switching to other brands. Hopefully, those don't change as well cuz then I'll have to start making my own products. ... show more
