Okay, I get Mike and Ike from the store and gas station all the time and usually the are a hard to chew and very firm. I just assumed this is how it was meant to taste. I like these for a snack, the only issue I have is it goes up a dollar every time I reorder twice in December from $21 to $23 now in January over $24 and now the 5lb bag is 4.5lbs. Although i gave a 5 star rating i can only say there is no reason this product should increase in price every month.
