  • Using the 3G Cardio has provided me with an available and great workout tool
I am so glad I bought this recumbent/stationary bike. I have used many stationary bikes in gyms and have never found one so comfortable and sturdy as the 3G Cardio Exercise Bike. I was a lifelong runner who recently had to find another way to exercise due to arthritis. This wasn’t easy, but using the 3G Cardio has provided me with an available and great workout tool. For instance, the 3G Cardio bike is conveniently shorter than other recumbent bikes, making it easier for me to find a place for it in my house. In addition, you can adjust the soft seat in three ways (forward and back, up and down, and a tilt adjustment helping you to find the best seating position for yourself. The instructions were clear and straight and the bike can be moved easily. The “ride” is quiet and the pedal spacing is “naturally” narrow and similar to the pedal spacing of a road bike, which minimizes hip and knee strain. The “side heart rate hand grips” also include convenient controls of the display functions on the programming screen. There is also a large button at the bottom of the display screen I can use to control screen data (e.g., “Quick Start” and “Reset”) Regarding Programming, there are 5 built-in programs, along with free Sync FTMS Bluetooth Smart App Connectivity I can use to connect to popular apps. In addition, I can also connect my cycling data to my vivoactive6 watch. I also appreciated the customer service I received from this company and know they are there to help with any problems or questions I might have in the future. ... show more

  • My new 3G Cardio Elite RB X
This bike is awesome. I bought it on appearance and description. I ordered the delivery with assembly as it was reasonable in cost. It arrived on the date I chose, the delivery guys (2) we friendly and competent. The assembly took the 2 men alittle over an hour and I'm glad I chose inside delivery with assembly as there were quite a few parts and steps in the assembly although the manual apprared straight forward. Basic tools were included and no missing parts. The guys said this was the 2nd one of these they had assembled so they were somewhat familiar but I think after watching them I would have taken somewhat longer to do this and be sure it was all set up and working propperly. So that was yeaterday and my first ride was this morning. Having used treadmills, elipticals and regular outdoor bicycles this bike, recumbent style was of very good quality and easy to use and operate. Very comfortable, adjustable seat and electronics to adjust (I ordered the basic control panel as that is all I need essentially time, distance and pulse rate and resistense. The seat and pedal set up is easy to adjust, solid feel, stable not wobbly and the unit doesn't take up too much space. I actually spoke to the company on the phone before ordering the unit regarding a purhasing question but was connected to a service guy due to a sales person not in the office that day, had a great conversation with the service guy and made me feel comfortable about purchaing oune of thes bikes and he was the guy I'd likely speak ti if I did have questions about the bike or parts. So I got on Amazon and ordered my bike, setup the deluvery date with assembly. I could go on and on but in short I highly reccomend this bike if your looking for a well designed, sturdy, moderatly priced in my opinion considering the quality exercise recument style exercise bike that is easy to use and comfortable. I looked at bikes ranging from $800 to $3000 and this bike at $2000 with free shipping and if you have an Amazon credit card 12 mos no interest this was a good option. I've only had this bike two days but there are no concerns, I'll write further if I encounter any significatant issues. ... show more

  • solid quality, comfortable to use, platinum class service.
The Bike is solid- well built, durable, and all around a quality piece. I set it up so my kids have to exercise to get their playstation to work and we put a few hours a day on it every day. its quite, has smooth resistance, and is comfortable to sit in. Love the reclining seat. The company is a small American company, and when I reached out to them for help they went above and beyond in a way very few companies do business these days. I cannot recommend them enough- they stand behind its product and emphasize customer service in a refreshing way that is hard to find these days. Assembly: took me part of an afternoon. straightforward with good directions. mobility: Bike is easy to move around with the wheels at the front. its quality piece and not light, but I am able to move it (average adult male strength) with one hand. value: we went for the quality piece here, and we got what we wanted. my kids put hours a day and the bike takes the punishment without any issues. its clearly commercial grade quality and thats what we wanted. the feel is solid throughout. I cannot comment on the display because we use built out own interface for the bike that picks up the bike's FTMS bluetooth signal- thats how we use it to drive the kids playstation time. ... show more

  • Exceptional Value and Quality
I am a retired 74-year-old cardiovascular safety pharmacologist and have exercised daily for 35 years. My daily exercise typically incorporated a treadmill, road bike, and weight training. Still, with advancing years and a lower back injury, I had to change my bike routine to a recumbent model. After researching and reading countless reviews, I settled on the 3G Cardio Elite RB. I purchased the bike in October 2023 and put it into service on October 16, 2023. I perform 60-90 min of continuous cardio 5 days per week. As of this writing (January 5, 2024), I have logged 67 hours over 43 sessions on the bike. This amount of usage positions me to write a reasonably authoritative review. I am delighted to report that the 3G Elite bike has performed absolutely flawlessly. Not a single glitch or hint of any problem anywhere. As noted in the other reviews, the bike is exceptionally stable, quiet, and comfortable – rock solid in every respect. Similar to one other reviewer, I am also tall (6'4") and heavy (~125 kg) and am entirely comfortable on the bike, with much adjustment still remaining to accommodate a larger frame than mine. The bike arrives very well-packed, and I strongly encourage any buyer to carefully follow the excellent video instructions for unpacking and assembly available on the distributors' website. The distributor website also has additional videos to guide hardware adjustment of the startup resistance. As others have noted and as documented in the 3G manual, the bike controls allow custom-tailored exercise sessions by varying preset calories, time, watts, heart rate, and distance goals as desired. As these controls are clearly described in the 3G manual and other reviews, I will not repeat them here but use this space to discuss features not presented elsewhere. In an otherwise well-written manual, 3G only briefly and casually mentions the Bluetooth compatibility of the Elite RB. To me, this is a serious omission. In fact, I found the Elite RB to be fully compatible with every Bluetooth device (heart rate monitor) and program I had to use. Most importantly (to me), the Elite RB fully and seamlessly implements every aspect of Zwift®. This online cycling training platform enables users to design custom programs and ride, train, and compete in a virtual world. The features of Zwift® bring the cycling experience to an entirely different level, adding virtually unlimited variation to daily cycling routines. Zwift® is best known for replicating the elevation grades and difficulties of real-world cycling courses. It can also implement an ergometer (ERG) mode, which implements a user-defined series of intervals of varying resistance, regardless of the terrain. Zwift® is primarily designed for road bikes, allowing riders to change gears while navigating hilly terrain. By design, a recumbent bike only has 1 gear, so realistically, navigating a hilly course is not feasible. However, in ERG (ergometer) mode, where the resistance varies over user-designed time intervals, Zwift® creates an ideal environment for the recumbent bike. An ERG program also allows us to look very carefully at the actual performance of the Elite RB. Picture 1 depicts a typical Zwift® ERG program that I created (upper panel), which includes a ramped warmup, 60 minutes of varying resistance, and a ramped cooldown. The lower panel in Picture 1 presents the actual results recorded during one of my daily exercise sessions under the control of the Zwift® ERG program. Without going into too much detail, my results clearly show that the Elite RB precisely followed the ERG program instructions. Most impressive (to me) were the instantaneous transitions in preprogrammed resistance levels, which demonstrated the seamless and precise control of the Elite RB by the Zwift® program. The control evident during the ramped warmup and cooldown further highlights the accurate responses of the Elite RB, where the resistance level changed every few seconds. These results also show that the resistance of the Elite RB remained absolutely constant during each fixed interval, demonstrating very stable performance for the Elite RB over time. Impressive! While the design of the Elite recumbent bike is well thought out, I found that there was inadequate storage for multiple bottles (required for long rides) and an eye-level platform for an iPad or similar display for a control program. This issue is readily addressed by adding a RAD Cycle Products Adjustable Bike Trainer Fitness Desk available through Amazon. This desk is also well-built and very stable. It has adequate height adjustment to readily be positioned over the 3G Elite control panel. The combined equipment arrangement is shown in Picture 2. Incorporating Zwift® or some other companion control program (Rouvy®, etc.) will significantly enhance your experience with the Elite RB or any stationary bike. However, while the 3G Elite fully implements the Zwift® controls, it is not 3G's responsibility to provide operational support for the use of Zwift® or any 3rd party program. The user will always be responsible for gaining expertise in add-on programs. However, extensive online communities support these very popular companion products. After several months of intense use, the Elite RB has proven to be a durable, professional-grade piece of equipment. Typically, we get what we pay for, but in the case of the Elite RB, I feel that the actual value far exceeds the price. The Elite RB is a genuine bargain when you factor in very responsive customer support and exceptional build quality. Regardless of the price, I don't think you will find better (or comparable) performance in a recumbent bike. ... show more

Excellent recumbent bike that's easy to use. It's easy on my back and has lots of adjustability. I paid for the delivery and assembly and it was well worth it. The guys were on time, respectful and cordial. Saved me the time of assembling.

  • This is one sturdy bike
We have had this bike for two years now, and this is one of the best recumbent bikes I believe you can get. Prior to this, we had the one that clipped to the front of a chair which lasted for six months before we decided it didn't work as well as a fully recumbent bike. We upgraded to another bike which might have lasted four months before coming apart. This one is durable as all get out. It's lasted for two years, and if we wipe it down, it looks like we just unboxed it. It has a solid weight to it, meaning you aren't chasing it around the room. However, it's balanced enough (with front wheels) that one person can lift it from the back, and roll it around to different locations. While the quality is outstanding, it also performs extremely well. This is the equivalent of any bike you would use at a professional gym, with varying exercise programs allowing you to challenge yourself in a variety of ways. If you are considering a recumbent bike, then you will not regret this one. It may be pricier than other bikes, but this one proves you get what you pay for. ... show more

  • A Great Semi-recumbent Bike!
In order to form a solid impression of the 3G Cardio bike, I chose to wait 3 months before providing my (lenghty) opinions. First off, some background: over the past 30 years I have owned a wide variety of stationary exercise bikes from major manufacturers, including upright, semi-recumbent, fully recumbent, & spinners. In my opinion, the 3G Cardio bike represents the pinnacle of all of them. It is solidly built and TRULY whisper quiet (the only faint noise that's heard is when the magnetic resistance changes). The spacious seat bottom should be MORE than adequate for the vast majority of users and the mesh back provides excellent ventilation. My only observation is that the seat bottom material gets a bit warmer than some of my previous bikes. But what sets the seat apart from all others is the virtual infinite range in positioning which is due to being able to be adjusted in 3 directions: distance from pedals, seat angle tilt, & seat back tilt. Note that, if necessary, the seating position can be completely adjusted while seated on the bike. I am 5'11' and my wife is 5'2" and both of us were able to find perfectly comfortable final seat positions. Another feature of this bike that really matters to me is the fact that, instead of a large front flywheel assembly, the magnetic resistance mechanism is located in the base housing below the seat. That orientation allows the pedals to be more closely spaced than a bike with a large front flywheel. The end result has been that the positioning of my ankles-knees-hips is far more anatomically aligned than with any other bike that I've owned. At 78 y.o., I have had more than my share of knee and hip orthopedic issues and this bike has been superb in not causing any flare-ups despite almost daily workouts. There are 16 levels of resistance, the higher levels are likely to be sufficiently challenging to all but the most serious cyclists. The on-board programs are well designed and the heart rate programs interface well with either the supplied chest strap monitor or the extremely accurate hand grip detectors. There is the ability for the user to enter up to 4 individual programs (consisting of 20 time increments and 16 levels of resistance) with the bike's computer adjusting at each new segment. The resistance for each segment within any program can be adjusted up or down from either the console or the HAND GRIPS (a really useful feature). I have suggested to 3G Cardio that consideration should be made to allowing the user to make individually programming in WATTS, not just resistance, as this would be of significant benefit to any user who would want to chart improvement over time with a verifiable & reliable metric. I'm hoping that this can be accomplished and subsequently broadcast to existing owners via a firmware update. Customer support has been truly first rate and knowledgeable; it's a real bonus to be able to contact a real person in real time! The retro appearing console is pretty much bare boned compared with the competitors, but is more than adequate in displaying the relevant metrics. Importantly, the 3G Cardio broadcasts Bluetooth FTMS information, allowing the bike to be taken over (made into a slave) by external programs such as TrainerDay, Zwift, MyWhoosh, Kinomap (etc.), offering a vast number of structured riding experiences. The small shelf on the console seems adequate to hold a tablet (if desired) for the display of those apps. My only (minor) quibbles are that the relatively small water bottle holder is awkwardly placed for a recumbent bike rider and that there is virtually no available storage space without making an after market workaround. Of note is that the step through is slightly higher than on bikes that have the flywheel/resistance mechanism at the front, but I doubt that this would prove to be problematic to the vast number of users. Bottom line: I am thrilled to have purchased this semi-recumbent bike, as it fulfills all of my needs in virtual silence. It ticks all of the boxes for my workout needs and is well worth the purchase price. ... show more

  • Great bike.
I’ve had my 3G Cardio recumbent bike for a while now, and overall, I really like it. The build quality feels solid—sturdy frame, comfortable seat, and smooth pedaling motion. It’s very quiet, which makes it easy to use while watching TV or listening to music. The console is simple and straightforward, not overloaded with gimmicks, and it gives me everything I need to track my workout. What really stands out to me is how natural the pedaling feels compared to other bikes I’ve tried. The seat adjusts easily and gives good support for longer rides. I also appreciate the compact footprint—it doesn’t take up a ton of space. ... show more
