    • 3G Cardio, best recumbent bike ever!
The 3G Cardio recumbent bike is my favorite of all brands that I've used! I travel Internationally and the recumbent bike is my first choice of equipment. Between the gym, hotels and a previously owned bike, I've used at least 8-10 different brands. I've ridden recumbents for at least 15 years. This bike is sturdy, solid, quiet and smooth. It is 49" x 27". The shorter length made it easier to place in my home, (most recumbents are about a foot longer.) I find the distance between the pedals to be perfect. My legs are properly aligned from foot to hip. The pedals are wide and comfortable. The seat adjusts forward and back, tilts up and down and the back adjusts forward and aft. I'm small framed and I do put a pillow behind my back for a little extra cushion between the seat and seat back, (This is just a preference, not a necessity.) I ride an hour and like being able to periodically adjust my tilt and back angle, as well as varying my resistance levels. The minor adjustments slightly change my knee position. I don't get knee pain after my ride that I sometimes experience from other bikes where I'm in the exact same position day after day. When I received the bike, the instructions for putting it together were very detailed and easy to follow. I did have a couple of questions and Bryan, from 3G Cardio was always available to help me. There are 16 levels of resistance and I was finding level one to equate to about a level 4 on other bikes. Bryan sent me a diagram on how to lower the resistance. It was an easy process and I was able to do it myself. He told me if I had any difficulty he would send a technician out to set it for me, free of charge. This bike has one year free parts and labor, and a 7 year parts warranty! 3G Cardio has the best product and the best customer service I have ever experienced. I bought this 3G Cardio Recumbent Exercise after doing tons of research on similar products of all price ranges. I used to be a daily runner for 30+ years until I couldn't. I started walking several miles a day, again until I couldn't. I'm now preparing for a total knee replacement as soon as the COVID 19 pandemic is behind us. I was looking for a way to keep exercising but especially be prepared to rehab after surgery. I am blown away with how serious a workout I can get on this machine with absolutely no knee pain! It is the closest thing I have found to the feel of running, without the pounding. I should have bought this bike years ago! I get a great cardio workout and the results in my leg strength and stamina are amazing. I'm sure that this bike is an excellent rehab tool, but it is so much more. And again, it does not cause any knee pain for me. My bike was lost in transit the first time. Amazon cancelled the order and re-ordered another one right- away with no hassle. The unit arrived in good order and was simple to assemble, as the instructions are clear and logical. I thought had a problem with the front bearing system at first which turned out to be user error on my part. Note; always put your feet into the toe straps and don't let them dangle. When I thought I had a problem, I called 3G's office and they immediately sent replacement parts and arranged for a trained exercise equipment technician to come to my home and fix my bike. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE! They are a company that is obviuosly proud of the quality of their equipment and they truly stand behind it. The unit is extremely quiet, even at high RPM and heavy tension. I wall-mounted a 43" Samsung TV in front of the bike that is perfect for passing the time. I much prefer streaming TV to having some trainer yelling at me to go faster! The seat and backrest are very well designed and very comfortable for long daily exercise sessions. It comes with a chest strap that monitors heart rate. It is so comfortable and intuitive to operate the tension adjustments at your fingertips, you can focus on exercise instead of fumbling with equipment settings. For the record, I paid full price for this unit. I am so impressed with it and the outstanding Customer Service that backs it up, I thought it deserved a thorough review. ... show more
