Packaged well and fast shipping. The unit itself runs cooler than the display says and the humidity runs high. Get a second thermometer/ hygrometer to compare and set it. I had to set the temp at 102 so it was actually 100 inside. Not that great for hatch %.

Sooooo, it’s going to work buttttt it takes more effort on your part. The water tray is designed in such a way that you are unable to control the humidity. The design leaves too much surface area which in return causes the humidity to be high. It sits regularly around 70% which is WAY to high for quail. In order for me to keep it at the sweet spot of 45% (1st 14days) I have put paper towels in the tray(under the floor, but not the entire bottom) to help absorb moisture and reduce surface area. Doing this will now require me to add small amounts of water about 2-3times per day. So yes it works, but man does it suck. I am using the smaller section of the water intake. It does rotate the eggs great! So that’s a positive. I’m not returning it as I need to put the eggs I have on hand in an incubator now!

The media could not be loaded. Instructions do not have any information on quail only chickens ducks and geese. So I’m not fully convinced this would work for quail. I also don’t like the mister, I thought these came with water bottles because technically I’d have to constantly check the water with this and with water bottles I do not.

Lasted 5 months of on and off use. Kept in home and super clean. Stopped turning eggs, acts like it has hung up, and now it has stopped heating.

Hard as hell to program. Now the heat level won’t stay where it was programmed to. The humidity level can’t be adjust easily either. Would not recommend to anyone.

Egg turning and light works great. The incubator is easy to clean and start up but the humidity reads about 10% higher than it actually is. The temperature won’t stay consistent even though my room temperature doesn’t change so I put the styrofoam over it and it gets too hot.
