Okay, these work great as dumbbells - good grips, you can pick them up and put them down, and the rack works well. But they have a nasty, overpowering rubber smell. We have a small house, so I tucked the rack away in a corner of the living room, but the stink quickly took over. I wouldn't have chosen these if I had known ahead of time, but I'm going to keep them and see what we can do to cut down on the nasty stinkaroo (they're currently in a box with baking soda and I only take them out to use them). ... show more
