This incubator is prefect! Hatched 15 out of 16 chicken eggs.. I did purchase an extra thermometer just to be sure of the inside temp (recommend doing this with ANY incubator) and the tem inside is slightly lower than the temp on the machine but not by much.. The setup was easy for this incubator. It is self explanatory. I like that it has automatic settings for the egg type. It was a little difficult to keep the humidity in the proper range and my hatch rate was pretty low. I tried to hatch quail in this incubator, but they were so small they fell through.

This incubator is so cool, and we had a blast hatching our chicks! Awesome family activity that works great! I'd never used one before, we had purchased chickens already hatched, so I took a crash course online. Step by step, I learned what a great incubator this is! The instructions are clear and easy to understand, so much that if I had looked at the instructions before my crash course I could have skipped a bunch of online reading. The controls were simple to navigate, and the noise was at a low, reasonable level. (I read horror stories about the noise involved with other incubators. So glad to have avoided that issue with this incubator!) It's easy to clean and a great size, there was plenty of room for what we were doing. I appreciated how well the smell is contained, that alone makes it a good value. I also like the clear cover so we could see what's happening inside. The auto turn feature is handy, so is the candler. It was really helpful to be able to see the water levels! This is a nice product, and the features and clear instructions make it a winner for me. Would order again!

This is my first egg incubator and the first I’ve ever used. Having little to no knowledge on how to begin with the process, the instructions were incredibly detailed and thorough, very helpful and much appreciated. Great communication from the manufacturer in this aspect. The functions are plentiful. I was intimidated to get started but this essentially and quite literally does all the work for me. The noise isn’t unbearable but it did take me a bit to really get the hang of how to use the functions without the sounds repeating forever. It is lightweight and easy to clean. Simple to keep clean when not in use. This even came with a set of documenting materials to easily keep track of dates and information. Really happy to have this.

Buyer Beware!!! I love the fact that there is so much room in this incubator for chicks to move around after they hatch while they dry off... THAT BEING SAID, BEWARE!! CLUMSY CHICKS THAT HAPPEN TO FLOP OM THEIR BACK AND EXTEND THEIR LEGS UNDERNEATH THE FAN WILL GET THEIR TOES CAUGHT AND CUT! Chick Safety Hazard!!!

This is my fourth incubator that I've purchased recently, and it by FAR has the most detailed instructions on the usage of the machine as well as tips on how to get the best hatch. There is a incubation card as well to keep you on track with what you're supposed to do on which days. You can make notes here as well. It would be worth photocopying on cardstock for future hatches. There is no aggravating bottle of water connected to a hose like two other incubators I have. But rather just a port with a silicone lid labeled A and B. So, the water can be zoned into zone A and/or B depending on what day in the incubation period you're in. You just have to pour the water in and a small pitcher labeling A and B for precise measurements would be a good idea for the manufacturer to include. The display is large and easy to read. It shows temperature, humidity, incubation day, and which setting you're on (chicken, duck, quail, or manual). It has an egg candler in the lid too. But possibly the best feature is the alarm which alerts me when temperature or moisture (mostly) is out of optimal range for that certain day’s incubation requirements. After my first incubation I had a successful hatch! There were about 4 or 5 stillborn “unhatched” seemingly fully developed chicks. We did have a storm and lose power for about 7 hours on the last day of incubation so that could have been the cause of their fate. When the power went out I put the incubator in the styrofoam top and bottom and covered the whole setup with a large towel. It was still warmer than ambient temp when the power was restored. The bottom wasn’t as nice to clean as some of the other incubators I have tried having lots of crevices. But it’s manageable with a long skinny brush. Overall, a very nice and tidy incubator.

I am in love with this incubator! Compared to the other two incubators I have used this one is better by far! The only thing I can figure out is how to get the darn humidity alarm to shut off. Fantastic product and definitely worth it.
