    • Skeptical at first but chickens actually use this
Our 9 chickens actually use this! I was skeptical about buying this because chickens will just dig a dirt hole to dust bathe in out in the yard/woods. But, after a couple days of owning this - the chickens decided it was worth testing out. After a few of them gave it a go, then all the chickens would dust bathe in it. (All at the same time too which caused a couple lower-ranking chickens in the flock to have to wait their turn.) This helped the chickens not dig as many holes where they shouldn't and keep to one location to have their fun bath time. The quality is nice and sturdy, chickens can perch on the sides, up to 3 adult chickens can use it at a time efficiently, it holds about 2-3 bags of sand. ... show more

Broke after about 6 months of use. Never moved it and the whole base was torn apart like the seams gave up. If you need a dust bath just get a plastic pool

This thing takes a lot of dust/dirt to fill to a level the chickens can dig and cool off. Otherwise it seems great!

Seems like a very durable material. I used it this summer to put water and some bricks for the chickens on those super hot days. It held the water fine and the chickens seemed to like it.

    • It works good
I use it for a bathing tote from my birds. When they're inside, their run works real well, it holds sandwell. The birds with their weight doesn't cave in the sides. And that's almost impossible for them to dig through the bottom. I've had no issues with that's a good product

    • Great Idea for Large Coops
Great Idea for large coops. We have 22 chickens. This is a great size for that many girls. It has a large 32" circumfrance and an 8" depth and holds about 60lbs of Chicken Dust. We use a mixture of 40lbs of medium grain dust, 20lbs of Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth for Chickens and 2 10lb jars of fine grain dust. The DE works wonders with mites and ticks without causing respiratory issues with the girls with this mixture. This large Dust Bath holds that and more. The package comes with 4 stakes to anchor it down so the girls don't rearrange house. Be prepared to useba significant amount of dust product with this, as it is designed for larger coops. This is our new favorite dust bath. We like it so much that we purchased a second backup on Prime Day. Another 5 Star Winner. Highly recommend and already purchase another. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 Stars ... show more
