Who would’ve thought stainless steel would be the answer to our litter box problems?! The litter literally slides right out when you scoop, making cleanup so much easier. The cracked lip where they step out has significantly reduced how much litter gets tracked around the house, and there’s no lingering odor like we had with plastic boxes. Sooo much better than the plastic .... much easier to clean. The size is good ... out little girls use them as well as our chunky monkey male. Helps keep litter in the box instead of all over the floor. Very pleased with this purchase.

Easy to clean! The top guard helps keep litter in the box. I bought these to help keep the smell down. Plastic absorbs urine and ultimately leaks onto the floor beneath it. Very reasonably priced.

Changing to the steel litter boxes I have noticed a drastic change in odor reduction. I wanted to trade out the old plastic boxes with something more sustainable but even better something that would be easier to clean. I feel like the smell after a while clings to the plastic. My cats love it. I got the Large size 2 pk and its perfect for my two cats.

I’m trying to transition to steel litter boxes. With 7 cats plastic litter boxes are a big smelly deal if not cleaned often. These don’t hold the smell and clean up so easily. The quality is good and I appreciate the litter scoop each comes with so I don’t have to carry a dirty scoop area the house. I had to deduct a star because the scoops are not good quality. It’s almost like it was an afterthought. Just a cautionary tale though, one of my cats refuses to use steel litter boxes. She’ll only use the stinky plastic ones. So if you get this, don’t throw out your old one right away.

I switched from a plastic litter box to these stainless steel ones a few weeks ago. They are very easy to clean and feel much sturdier than the flimsy plastic ones. I have also noticed that litter box smells are non existent now. I don’t smell that strong urine scent that must have leached into the plastic one I had. It was a great price and it is very convenient to have two boxes now especially since these came with two scoops as well.

While I like the idea of stainless steel, I'm not crazy about some of the design features, This litter box was smaller than I expected because the measurements are of the outside, not the inside space. The outside measurements of the tray is around 20'" long but the inside usable space is around 18"-19". (I purchased the XL size and the description says 23". That measurement includes the little outside lip.) The plastic snap on part leans in slightly which makes it smaller and the little grated "step" takes up usable space and I'm not sure that my adult cats will even use it to step on; maybe a kitten would , idk. In theory, it's a nice idea ... I honestly can't say right now if I'm going to keep these litter boxes; I hate to send them back when they have been used already. I've had them set up for a couple of days and will re-assess at the end of the week. I bought these because the price was right for the 2 pack and I do believe the stainless steel will be easier to clean and won't absorb odor which are features I like. I may have to spend more money to get something that works better for my cats, one of which is rather large. I had to keep a corner, plastic litter box in the corner due to the size of the one I purchased being on the smaller side, which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering these. These are nice litterboxes though; I put the other one downstairs
