This LAUNCH CRP123I V2.0 Elite OBD2 Scanner is a solid one-way diagnostic tool for DIYers and home mechanics. It’s user-friendly and covers a wide range of makes and models, pulling detailed codes for engine, transmission, ABS, and SRS systems. The ability to clear codes and monitor live data, like RPM and transmission temperature, is a big plus for quick diagnostics. I’ve used it on several vehicles over a few weeks, and the lifetime free updates ensure it stays current. I've got a lot to learn about OBD scanners (previously used a Bluetooth model) and understanding how to use the Launch CRP123I is both eye opening and fascinating. The ability to access automotive diagnostic trouble codes and make repairs (or clear the code if needed) from home is a great way to understand vehicles better and potentially save money. So far I've run diagnostics on a '17 Outback , '23 Tucson, and '25 Ioniq without a hitch. Setup is easy. Charge via USB, connect to Wifi to download updates (updates are free for life with this scanner), and your off. The only thing I wish was different is the proprietary charging port on the unit. Sending test results via email is also simple, and the large touchscreen is easy to use and to read. Overall, a great tool for diagnosing, learning about and understanding motor vehicles.
