So this is literally a day 1 review. I have had this thing for a total of 2 hours at the writing of this review. So far I love it. Took me about 30 minutes to assemble and another 10 or so just to throw so stuff on top. So less than an hour to assemble. All the tools you need to assemble it come In the box but I had my own tools so it was smooth for me. 4mm hex head socket and a Philips head screw driver bit attached to a impact is what I used so made it a breeze but a simple Philips head screw driver will do. Like a PH2 or 3 should be fine. All parts were included in my package so nothing missing. I love the desk as it is perfect for what I need with what I got. Yes it makes noise when it goes up and down it’s a electric motor after all lol but your phone probably vibrates louder then the motor running. I don’t like that the top is 2 piece but oh well. Wish the top part was thicker but not bad for $160 with free next day delivery. You get what you paid for and I feel like I got it. *Will update review in future if problems arise.* ... show more

We've set up three of these (48"x24", split top) now, and the assembly has been easy. They provide extra parts for near everything, just in case, and there are a number of nice touches to help ensure you don't assembly it incorrectly (minor divots to line things up, holes spaced differently for different parts to attach to, etc). The minor hiccup we had was starting to over-tighten screws connecting the top to the center. The screws are slightly too long to tighten that much without going through the board. One desk has two monitors, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and a handful of items. The second desk has two monitors, keyboard, mouse, speakers, laptop, second mouse, and a microphone without feeling crowded. The controls for height adjustment work fine and are easy to configure. All told, very happy for what we got at this price point ($180 per desk). ... show more

I was impressed with how well it was packaged. All hardware was in individual bags, labeled with letters or numbers to correspond to the assembly directions. There was foam around every piece so despite the outside box being a little beat-up, all parts were flawless. For most of the small hardware like screws, there was at least one extra leftover. The assembly was pretty straightforward and easy to follow. It took me about an hour to assemble by myself. After you attach the legs to the table top, you do have to flip it which would be easier with two people but it's not terribly heavy so it's doable by yourself. For the space I have available, the 55" fits perfectly and has room for both of my laptops and an extra monitor. I will probably look into adding monitor arms to get another monitor to fit. Feels pretty sturdy despite the top being pretty thin. There is a very slight wobble if you bump it when it's at its highest setting but doesn't seem like it would tip over. The control panel has 3 presets and is easy to set them, simple press the "S" button while on the desired height and then tap the 1, 2, or 3 button to set that button to that height. The three presets allow you to set a sitting height, standing height and another height that I use for when I'm on the standing board which bumps me up another inch or two. I am about 5'11" and with the standing board I have to have the desk maxed out so if you're much taller, it might not be high enough for you. The motor is not silent but isn't very loud. For the price, it is well worth it. Looked into some others and they were 3-4x as expensive as this for a similarly sized desk. ... show more

This is a very well made product. I have no complaints so far. Everything works and I am using right this very second. The package when it arrived is super heavy so know that in advance. But, that's because the base is made out of metal, which makes this thing very sturdy. I took the parts out of the box downstairs and carried them up a few and up to the upper level. I read through the picture (not text) instructions several times before I started assembly, watched the video (I think it was this product that offers an assembly video - maybe not) and made sure I had all the parts I needed. Everything was accounted for, I understood the instructions and I put it together. I'm not sure how long it took me, not long, so don't let that scare you. Yes, you do need to understand the picture diagrams and I had to look a few times to make sure I understood what it was saying but I put this together with no problems and no need for do-overs. I am really loving this desk, and the design is great. I do wish there had been an option to get the white base with the dark brown/rustic top, but alas no, so I got the black base with rustic top (48") and it looks very professional. The top does come in 2 pieces, which I was worried about because I've read reviews (not sure if it was this product) about the two pieces not lining up, that there was a ridge in the middle or the dowels didn't align. But again, this was made perfectly. Everything lines up and I highly, HIGHLY recommend this one. Also, this does come with wheels and I am running it over carpet, which works very well. It's not stiff or hard to slide around, so the wheels are well made. If anything changes I'll be sure to update this review. ... show more

It’s compact, easy to assemble (although it takes a little while), sturdy, comes with 3 height presettings and a nice hook for hanging headphones, a backpack, etc. It also reaches a great range of heights.
