Ordered this for my dogs small pool, so far it's worked out good. Took a little while to bring the temperature up but I expected that since this is not a large unit. Very happy with the product and my dogs no longer swim in freezing water.

It's nice and has a temp adjustment and a timer you can set. These features are nice. However don't expect it to heat up a kids swimming pool fast it's something you would want to start in the morning and it should be warm around noon. It's nice because you can set the temp so it would not get scolding hot.

My water heater went out recently and I was without hot water for five days. I was so glad to get this. It does take a while to heat up the water, but the temp is accurate, it was easy to use, and it was so nice to be able to take an actual bath before the home water heater was repaired. The only thing I didn't like was, the cord gets really hot while it's in use. But the instructions warn you of this, so it seems like it must be normal. It didn't end up causing any problems. I feel like this one also has more safety features than many others I looked at. Handy little device, I'm definitely keeping it around.

I tested this in a small tub of water and it works. I got this because I thought maybe I can use this to cook something Sous Vide style. I already have a vacuum sealer for food. This has built in temperature settings. Where I am at right now is trying to decide what to try to cook. I want something cheap so if it doesn't work it's not the worst thing ever. I will say that I will be monitoring the temperatures manually to ensure it is working and staying at the correct temperature. If it does not work expect an update. If you see no update you can bet that it probably worked.

It takes a long time to heat up a kiddie pool. It does work tho so plan accordingly. Took about an hour to heat up a normal size kiddie pool

I use this for heating cleaning solutions in a five gallon bucket. It heats up to 120 degrees F in about a half hour. The controller turns on the heater about 9 degrees below the set temp and shuts off at the preset temperature. When the temp reaches the set point the controller beeps several times. There is a slight overshoot in the temp so it keeps the solution in a 10 degree range. I am very happy with the performance in the 5 gallon bucket but don't have experience using this in a pool or large reservoir. There are many similar units available and this one is in the middle of the price range. It works well and is made of good materials. I would order it again.
