I wanted to wait until I had used this for a summer season. We have an above ground pool that holds 1915 gallons. This little heater worked like a champ. It kept the pool at a constant 85 degree temperature, once I figured out how to get it to work. That is the only drawback to the heater. The directions are not very clear and the only customer service is email only. Once you do get in touch with them, though, they are very helpful.

The media could not be loaded. Really the only negative thing about this pool heater was that the directions were a bit confusing. They’re all pictures- no words- but we were able to figure it out! This has (so far) kept our water at 80+ degrees (F) since about day 2 or 3 of having it turned on. We have an 18ft pool which sits in a very shaded yard and even on hot summer days the water felt frigid! Now I feel like we could comfortably swim regardless of the temps outside! I would 100% buy this again and recommend it to anyone! *Edit to add* I saw comments about the pieces not fitting. The heater comes with multiple white silicone rings (they look like rubber bands) and we layered 3-4 of them on each piece of tubing. Between that and the clamps that come with it, we did not need to purchase any extra pieces and it fit just fine. We have now had the pool up for over a month and still extremely happy about this purchase!

We have the 24 x 12 foot INTEX pool which we love. Last pool was a Costco one and it was too cold to use. This year we invested in this heater and it worked amazing! Even in Utah where it wasn't recommended due to the dry climate. All we wanted was it to be comfortable in May and early June and it sure did the trick! This pool holds 8,403 Gallons and this heater in May would heat it to the mid 80 to high 80s which was perfect! Now we only turn it on when we add more water as the solar cover keeps the heat up! We did have to invest to have an electrician set up the 220 voltage out by the pool. We almost went with a heater that was much higher BTU but a lot more $ as we were worried about Utah dry climate but this has been more than enough. The buttons to turn it on are a little annoying but not hard. Overall very impressed!

For this much money I kind of feel robbed. It will not ever hold a constant temp. You never know if the water will be warm or cold. Had a baby shower last Thursday and everyone was told to bring there swimsuits in hopes it would have a good day. We were wrong and stuck with 15 bored screaming kids for 5 hours.we thought if it's being noisy than it's working but we've been proven wrong there too. Buy something else, don't waste 500$

Surprisingly good and easy to install. We have had it installed about 3 weeks now and I have no complaints. How quiet it is surprised me the most. Just make sure to add a check valve on the exit of the heater before the chlorinator.

Amazing , I live in Colorado and temp hasn't really been that warm yet , about 60 to 80 degrees on a good day. This heater got my 5000 Gal pool up to 80 in 3 days. Definetly recommend ! I went ahead installed a 3 way shutoff valve at the inlet to be able to bypass a percentage of the water and reduce the flow down that hits the heater and I'm sure doing that helped out a lot too as you're able to heat the water more efficiently with slightly slower flow . Definitely recommend that if you have a really fast pump/filter. This worked out great for us though and definitely excited for the warmer weather coming up !

it does a good job heating the pool, and the energy use is not terrible. however, I had issues with the heater turning on and off due to the safety switch. I don't run my pump 24/7 and when the pump is off the heater turns off which is expected. however when the pump turns back on the heater does not turn back on which is a problem. I often had to turn off/on the heater to get it to work again which isn't ideal as it should be automatic.

Works great, had it installed by Plummer which added a bit to total price, however; worth it. We were able to enjoy our pool a few day late March and some days in April. Since then we have used the pool quite frequently (when weather allows).
