Disappointed! Not a plug and play as described. I regret buying this pool heater and when I tried to return it there is a charge by the manufacturer, not Amazon, to return it. I wanted to return it because I saw another one that I have been reading about that went on sale for the same price as this one. I bought this one as a special deal. Since there was a charge to return it I decided to try and use it. It has been a disaster. I have an 18 ft by 9 ft best way steel Pro pool. I spent an extra $60 in connectors and extra $15 on tubing since this only came with two adapters for in and out. That was just the beginning. I came home after having all the adapters and tubing to connect to my pool. When I tried to connect the adapters that the pool heater came with the, the adapters did not screw in as easily as in the video. As a matter of fact it did not fit at all, neither one. The threading did not match it it seems. Another disappointment is the length of the cord. The cord is 10 ft long and not long enough to reach the plug in my house and you are not supposed to use extension cord so now I have to move my sand filter and heater. closer to my house so I can plug it inside. I'm contacting support since it does have a 3-year warranty maybe that's the only best thing about it but let's see what happens when they reply.

Amazing , I live in Colorado and temp hasn't really been that warm yet , about 60 to 80 degrees on a good day. This heater got my 5000 Gal pool up to 80 in 3 days. Definetly recommend ! I went ahead installed a 3 way shutoff valve at the inlet to be able to bypass a percentage of the water and reduce the flow down that hits the heater and I'm sure doing that helped out a lot too as you're able to heat the water more efficiently with slightly slower flow . Definitely recommend that if you have a really fast pump/filter. This worked out great for us though and definitely excited for the warmer weather coming up !

Wow! It was worth the $4k in electrical to have this heater. It’s been running for just 4 days and my pool went from 66 degrees to 84 and that’s with overnight lows in the 50’s. Super easy to connect to my filter, just needed to get a couple extra fittings. I’m sorry I waited this long to get it as I just won’t go in my pool unless the water hits at least 82 which doesn’t happen too often with afternoon shade.

I just got this 2 days ago.. and my pool went from 60* at fill to 77* in two days.. I dont know what it will do to electric bill yet And the cord is kinda short for a heater. Also, the box that housing the heater is plastic and mine has a crack in it. So it does work, but run it non stop. Until sun can keep it warm. It seems to go up by 2 degrees at a time.. so for me was worth it. No noise. Kinda tricky to get it started up. Push and hold buttons.

I wanted to wait until I had used this for a summer season. We have an above ground pool that holds 1915 gallons. This little heater worked like a champ. It kept the pool at a constant 85 degree temperature, once I figured out how to get it to work. That is the only drawback to the heater. The directions are not very clear and the only customer service is email only. Once you do get in touch with them, though, they are very helpful.

Item came broken and defective and couldn’t be used. Wanted to easily exchange but returning the product was the only option. My husband is a plumber and the product was completely defective upon opening from an undamaged box. We are sad this didn’t work for us, but looking forward to trying again.
